OK you clever people how many SSS built in 2004 and 2005?

i'm hoping they were gentle loading and unloading (but i did get insurance just in case) the roads where i live are not to bad (its ok in the bigger citys and the main roads but some of the country lanes are a bit small, but i've been driving American cars and trucks for 25 years so i'm used to it lol and know which roads to avoid locally lol, i know what you mean about spain though there are some tiny roads over there, only big enough for donkrys and carts lol... I'm really carefull where i park (even if it means taking more than one space ) like you i can't stand careless people who can't park and have no respect for others property.. $5.54 a gallon I wish lol try these prices this is what we pay locally Unleaded 88.9 per liter or £4.04 $7.91 for a UK Gallon or $6.58 a US Gallon Super Unleaded 94.4 per liter £4.29 $8.40 for a UK Gallon or $6.99 a US Gallon the UK Gallon is slightly bigger than a US Gallon.

lol but the black ones are Faster my last 3 trucks have been black... look great when their clean (having a buddy with a detailing shop valet company helps mind )lol)

Hi Kenneth, The trucks you're talking about are the 1978-1988 the "C" in front of the 10-20-30 means its 2 wheel drive and the "K" means 4X4. THE 10 20 30 is the weights and load capacity, they came with all the beds you mention and in regular and crewcabs, engines from a V6 to a V8 454 Big block and Diesel they also made a Blazer (K5)and Suburban variants. the Silverado name after the C10.. was the luxury trim package i cant remember the other trim names sorry... I used to own a Blazer and have had a couple of the C10 trucks look for rust in the usual places and if you find a well looked after one they are great trucks, parts are still available from lots of places.. as for more info this site is for the 2003-2007 Silverado SS so you might try Chevy truck world they cover all the Chevy models and are a friendly bunch of guys just like on here, you'll probably recognise a few user names who post on both sites. Hope i've been a little help for you, good luck on finding a truck...or you could always buy a SS there's a few for sale on here (i bought mine from a member) all the best eamonn

Sorry to hear that buddy... but its the same the world over... Politicians are all lying thieving cheating bastard's they make laws and taxes and raise their own wage so the laws/taxes don't affect them.. and talking of taxes here in the UK we get taxed on tax now that really sucks... when my truck arrives i will have to pay 22% tax on the truck/shipping and insurance.... then they add 17.5% tax on that figure, then tax on insurance, License and Gas ($9.00 a gallon) Death and Taxes the only things that are guaranteed... my rant over and i don't care coz my truck will be in the UK next week

Hi Gary, mine is still on its way over due to land on the 2nd of feb, seems like its taken forever, but i did get to drive it in the USA before shipping home so i know what its like lol bloody fast lol As far as i can make out there are now 2 Arrival Blues in the UK yours and JCBs and my Black one, where in the UK are you based? and do you do any of the National shows? Billing, NASC, Americana, SantaPod, etc coz i was talking to JCB the other day and we thought it would be good to have the SSS parked up together,at shows and maybe race each other at the pod, when we're bored beating the fords n dodges eh? lol anyway good to hear another Brit on here, This is the place to be for info on SSS they are a friendly bunch always willing to help out a Limey or 2 lol all the best eamonn

Sorry i cant be of more help but i'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along with the solution, i bought a set of these in case i get the dreaded window noise, seemed OK when i drove it but better safe than sorry esp when i'm a long way from a dealer and any warranty are worthless over here in the UKebay window leak cure GOOD LUCK EAMONN

it gets worse Kim my truck is not arriving until the 2nd of Feb and we got our first snow today, hope it clears before the truck arrives yea Luaderdale SS SPEED CAMERAS SUCK.. just another way for our government to steal more money from us... the only good part is when they started installing them they called them safety cameras (not speed cameras, although they dont do anything for safety only catch you when you're about 5 mph over the posted limit) but by calling them "safety cameras" is legal to have them on sat nav systems as points of interest, so you know where they are and can slow down before you get to them (well you can if you have sat nav) i didn't when i last got caught. but i have now lol roll on feb eamonn
