A few guys are meeting up at Santa Pod Raceway tomorrow (Saturday) for the RWYB Before the Sunday show http://www.thefastshow.com/ we will only be there for the Saturday hopefully get some hot hatch kills under our belts. the rebel crew will be taking 2 Chevy SSS Me n JCB a couple of Corvettes a Camaro (SS 4TH GEN) a Pontiac or 2, There's gonna be a few lightnings, Harley's and Mustangs (including a Saleen) there's a grudge match between me and a Buddy in a 2003 HD (Any tips on how to make sure i beat him will be appreciated..)and any ideas of what my times should be? he pulled a 13:5 last season If anyone else on here who have been lurking and live/work in the UK are welcome to join us just look for the 2 SSS black n blue.. eamonn

To be honest driving thru town in traffic it just sounds like a nice sounding truck (Corsa Touring exhaust) but when i get on the loud pedal a DIFFERENT Story!!! sounds like all hell breaking loose, small children start crying women run for their lives and guys duck for cover...AWESOME is the word and i Love it... The only problem with Supercharged Trucks is they can get you out of a whole lot of trouble or in a whole lot more.. depending when you hit it hard on the gas.....

I doubt its totalled... its hard to total a $1,000,000 car VW AUDI The company that builds them is reportedly loosing £1.5 million on every one they sell so it could be a write off oh and it was a rental btw eamonn

i for one am intersted in a How To Feature Misterp, i have enjoyed reading your how toos since i've been on here and this one would really help me.... but i'm not going to change the red lens to amber, i'm going to tint the inside of the turn signal green then put a brighter bulb in to start with... i put some green plastic film on the outside of the lens and it did shine thru amber, i 've just got to find a way to put it inside.... if i cant manage the idea of putting a clear lens in sound s good, i think i'll be experimenting for a while till i get it right... eamonn

yea it sucks to have to cut up a set of lights just to comply with the law and I've got a spare set of 99-02 lights but i really love the look and shape of the 03-06 and i'd like to keep them as original as possible, i was going to just paint the bulbs green ( Red lens + Green Bulb = Orange light) but the bulb paint needed too many coats to be effective and didn't work, now if i could get a set of Green LED bulbs that would probably work but i've not been able to find any so dremel tool and some effort should make me legal. i might do a tint on the spare set for show use only of course lol ;)

lol ummm well Amber repeaters are "indicators" or "Turn Signals" and to comply with the UK road Traffic Act Repeaters must be Amber (Orange) its stupid law because my truck will be legal with red repeaters until its 3 years old and needs a MOT (ministry of Transport Test) then it becomes illegal. work that one out Stupid Red tape and government officials with nothing better to do .... i will also need to change the Amber driving lights to white.. but only when its 3 years old again.... only in the UK could there be such stupid laws.. hope that makes sense for you.. eamonn

Well the first day went Great, working with some really nice folks, friendly atmosphere everyone i met today seemed really happy in their work (and being a Monday that's got to be a good thing.. no Monday morning blues here lol) there's also a great canteen.... i took sandwiches today but the hot lunches smelled really good, so my diet might be going out of the window lol... i found a car parking space big enough for the truck (near a CCTV camera too). Anyway thought i'd give you an update, thanks for all your support and wishes all the best eamonn

well as some have asked what i'll be doing i know i have the body for gigolo or male stripper but i can't live on tips alone although i would get lots lol..this is a proper Job .. my official tile will be RACDI Customer Service Advisor.. and i will be selling Motor insurance (and other insurances , Home/vacation/etc) for the RAC (Royal Automobile Club, similar to the AAA) thru their Aviva (Norwich Union) Offices...Aviva bought the RAC last year and are investing in making it one of the top insurance companies in the UK.. I Guess that's why they employed me.. "Simply the Best" eh? anyway i'm really looking forward to working there, nice big offices with natural light, Free drinks in rest area a secure car park (with CCTV) Option to buy company shares after a qualifying period tax free after 5 years and only about 4 miles from home so easy commute, might even use my tricycle in the summer....

I applied for a new job at the beginning of the month and had my first interview last Friday (i was tested on my PC skills and given the first interview which lasted about 1 & 1/2 hours, then i was invited back yesterday for a second interview 3 & 1/2 hours long with group teamwork exercises with fellow applicants and an intense 1 to 1 interview with role play, the Great News is i got the Job and i start on Monday... i will be in training for approximately a month then i will be let loose doing it for real... the pay is Good (with potential to earn bonuses each month, quarterly wage reviews, and Great promotion opportunities ) it also has great benefits, 32 days vacation a year, and best part a secure parking space for my truck... things don't get much better than this... more mods for the truck coming soon and Paid Vacations whoo hoo i just had to share with you guys all the best eamonn
