Unfortunately it looks like I may not be able to make it. I am in the middle of building a new house and there are a few things that need to get down before the inspector comes monday morning. So I might have to do that Sunday. With all the rainy weather were having and the fact that it gets dark way too early, I might have to do it Sunday. I'll keep all you posted.

Iv'e replaced quite a few 305's and 350's in that style truck with broken cranks. Just don't go to crazy on stock bottom end.

try the simple things first. Fuel filter and some diesel fuel conditioner. Could be injectors. GM had a problem with the injectors in the LB7 diesels, but I think they got that resolved when the LLY's came out in the 2004.5 and up. Check the Duramax forums for any info.

Weather's looking good so far. It's still a week away though, keep your fingers crossed.

I think it's a 3.4 not 100% sure anymore. its only one size smaller than stock. I still use the stock belt.
