I'm goin this friday night.
-
im taking the sss to the strip on friday night weather permitting. anybody else feel like going and wanna have some fun, ill be there around 6
-
I installed mine and i don't have any issues at all with plug wires. the o2 sensor extension was the only problem, they sent me the wrong one.
-
the 454 ss was a good second slower in a 0-60 sprint. and even worse in a 1/4 mile run. there fun to drive though, easy to do nice smokey burnouts!

If I drill and tap a hole in the Al. part of the intake tube (K&N)...surely that nitrous will be able to make the turn into the throttle body, wouldn't it?!? I guess I'm just not sold on ankering the nozzle in plastic...
i had it in my stock intake tube for awhile before i got the k&N kit and it held in there fine, i think it works very well in the K&N tube
-
i dont live far from where it happened. it has everybody around here nuts.
-
im not sure what kit you have. i have the NX wet kit. all i had to do was drill a 9/16" hole in the tube, installed the fitting and sealed it with black permatex. i think it looks pretty nice. my personal preference is that you should'nt have the nozzel that close to the intake. i can post a pic of mine when i get off work.

yea, me neither.
-
I have mine about 6 inches away from the throttle body, drilled into the cai tube
-
as far as i know they bolt right up with no problem (o2 sensors etc...)

i ran spintech on 5.0 mustangs in the past and they sounded pretty sweet. i don't have any experience on the small block chevy's. as for the headers, i would check with dynatech i didn't think they were smog legal in ca.
-
check tbyrne's website they have a great group purchese program going on for the dynatech long tube headers . will save you quite a few bucks.
