I am on the fence about selling my truck. It's my pride and joy. But lately I am thinking about buying a rcsb with a turbo lsx. I guess I'm just looking for a change. Anyone have any input on the value of my truck or wether I should sell or not sell, pls share. I'm the original owner and it has 57,500 on the odometer. Mods are in my sig. I don't have any current pics of it at the moment. It's mint arrival blue 04 silverado ss. It ran a 12.77 last year.

Welcome to the 12's! Were you at Island or one of the big tracks?
I was at Island on friday night.

Havent posted here in awhile. Mostly because my truck doesnt get driven as much anymore. I brought her out of retirement and took her to the track. My previous best time was a 13.001, so im pleased with the 12.777 i ran. All i changed was the exhaust and i added high flow cats.

I finally got my painted dash peices back. Heres what they look like. Let me know what you all think. The dash was painted a custom color to match the stock inerior color as much as possible. I then told them to make it metallic and to clear the whole thing. The SS logo is painted in arrival blue to match the exterior. Ill post pics when its installed. I just have to do some work moving the gauges and stuff.

Im sure this is a really easy thing to do but for some reason i just cant figure it out. Anyone want to explain how to get the bottom center valance grille on? Do you have to take the license plate off, and if so whats the easiest way to do so? Or do you just cut the license plate frame to fit? If you do just cut it what is the preferred method of doing so. Any help would be much appreciated as i just cant seem to get it to work! Thanks!!!
I just pulled the plate frame out as much as i could and squeezed the grille in there. Its a tight fit. Do not cut your plate frame.

Thanks Kevin, but I kinda made my own SS decals for it. I just need the black bezel now. I dont know where to get one either. As for the dash its at the painters now ill show pics when i get it all back. The gauge doesnt look good close up. I might have to do it again. It doesnt look to bad from far thuogh.

If you read it closer the most expensive grill is stainless steal and the $66 one and the one you bought are made of aluminum. Thats the difference.

I would like to get $1100.

The rims arent perfect but they arent bad either. The tires have 30%-40% tread. I wont ship these so please dont ask. Im located in West Milford, NJ. Northern NJ. I will accept all reasonable offers. I want to get rid of these, they are taking up too much room in my garage. I never used them in the winter and they have been off of my truck for like a year now.

the scan guage face can be changed to white relatively easily, the clear plastic on the from should pop right off once the outer bezel is removed, then you can print your own and stick it in there. I'm planning on doing mine with an SS in there
IMO the Painted dash is a bit much, I would color match it to the interior before i painted it the same color as the truck, but you never know... a little more blue might just set the truck off
edit: ok, just got done pimping my guage...
whatya think? only took about 15 minutes, its kinda a hack job, but i just wanted to see how easily i could do it
I think it looks awesome and thanks for the idea. How did you get the template for the ss symbol? As far as color goes for the dash i think blue will pop out way to much. I got an idea thats a little differnt.

Well i was never a fan of painted interior pieces, i think its kind of too much. But after failing to find a cool place to put my gauges i broke down and bought some pieces. The nu-image dash cover actually fits like a glove. And i figured since im doing the top of the dash the front wont look right, so i bought that peice too. Hope I like it all when its painted arrival blue..

You want to trade them for a set of 23" akuza bounce wheels.
-
are you selling your 06 grille?
-
ill take the tailgate cap and the bottom trim piece if you still have it.
-
Did you sell the SSS?
No way! I dont think i ever will. Im trying to convert my new work truck so it looks a lil cooler. I dont deal well with a stock vehicle. In a couple weeks ill have the SS running. Hope to see ya at the track.
