Man for spending over $3K on a tranny that lasted less than 2200 miles, you seem very confident and proud of a company who left you stranded on the side of the road! Not saying thats a bad thing, but you handle it very well... I lost a couple of trannies from some guys who built it at the dealership, and I wanted to crack their skulls open. Now that my tranny shop built me a good tranny (knock on wood) I am happy. But if it was to blow up in the time yours did, I wouldnt be goin around advertising for them right away... lol (Hey everyone! My FLT tranny broke in 2K miles!! FLT is the best!!! Buy from them!)
Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn in an unfortunate situation. I take offense to your comment in case you didn't catch my drift. If I blew up my motor with a 500hp shot of nitrous, do I blame NOS, NX or Zex? Reputation is what the world thinks a company is; character is what they really are. ;)
For them to back up his tranny says alot about them. Especially due to the fact that he is OVER their recommended HP rating.

So who is down for a meet at island dragway. Its on a Sunday both days from 10-5 i think. Let me know the best date and lets get a day in at the track.

When you buy the new tensioner you need to buy a new pulley as well. The one that comes on it doesnt work for us. There is a part number in this thread for it. I bought two of them when i went so i could have a spare as well. And yea i believe i still have the broken one if you want it. But why?

I figured out the problem. It was the thermostat. It must be set for like 180 or something. I just took my stock hard lines and cut them like 3" long and stuck them in the place of the thermostat and now i find it difficult for my trans to even get warm. Its def doing a good job now. Only when i get on it will it get up to like 145. normally it sits around like 125-135.

October 1st. Sorry im putting this out so late. I was unable to post due to suspension. Im goin this weekend but if you guys want to make a bigger trip with more time for organizing we can go again. Island is open for awhile.

How is your dealer warrentying your tranny even though you have a shift kit? They must be a cool dealer. And if its your outputshaft, Id switch it to a billet one. But i guess your kind of stuck to whatever the dealer will do for free.
