good stuff , thats my plan for now too , have fun for the summer and then hit the track hard this winter/fall. good luck on it kevin . you need to make a trip to cali sometime man.

i have both and am so much happier with them in the a pillar. the over head is nice for something you dont need to monitor while in boost , taking your eyes that far off the road imo is dangerous. the triple pillar i use the wideband/fuel press/ boost and im going to do dual overhead aeroforce's

sorry i didnt post up , we had alot of fun . went to bj's after wards for some grub and ended up crusing down towards balboa. man if i was single i would have not came home that night . lots of girl's wanted a ride , especially after a couple of hot mama's thought there beamer was fast and showed them what turbos sounded like . they pulled up and asked for a ride
saw a gorgeoud cts-v get rolled up on by the beach po-po. and the best of all we left b.j.s and found a big honda/import meet and just had to roll through it cutouts blazing and getting the oh daym , thats what tq is look .
. we got a video of it too , just waiting for my buddy to send it. i have a shit ton of pics , ill post them tomorrow , my SS is tore down and ive got some fabbing to do this week to get the drop done. between that and helping greg out i have been non stop.
ill be setting up another meet soon , we need some ideas on something to do at the next one , thinking speedzone would be a blast or something similar .

i did have some of my own fun today , everyone at work got a nice new zip tie on their driveshafts. including the big boss's 4wd truck getting one on the front d-shaft , rear d-shaft and both front half shafts.

not true on sound , that all depends on muffler your running after the cats. it can sound great with the right muffler but depending on your setup it may get more drone.
if your boosted , do not use the magnaflows they will melt and magnaflow will not stand behind their product. i was one of the first with the 59559 or similar part number on those cats . they do make great decoy's though.

im working on the tune now but its alot of trial and error . if i get it figured out in the next 10-15 ill bring it , but i am tired and need some rest as i busted out work today on it to be ready just to hit a road block.
either way there should be good times and good food. im bring a camera or two , go pro included. see ya'll tomorrow.

the tensioner doesent look to bad , at least its polished , it either paint the 15mm bolt on the front of it black or chrome it.

the bed has play as mentioned as all frames and suspensions arent exactly the same as far as alignment is concerned. though on the quadrasteers they actually require an alignment.
it could also be the chevy lean your speaking of which has to do with weight , side to side is a bit different because of the gas tank and driver being on the same side.

is that a serious question ? no im going to going to arrange one for next may
not sure if it will be too soon but probably around may 21st , the weekend before memorial . i have the truckin throwdown event the following friday so ill be doing everything possible to get it ready for that . which will commence this next weekend but quite a bit of fabricating is going to be done although its all simple stuff.

im having the problem as well, i just replace my tensioner and the belt , i use a shorter belt since i have an ati damper and there a/c pulley is a bit smaller so a shorter belt is required. i checked on alignment and seems fine . may have the compressor going out but its hard to tell.
i did just re-charge the a/c after i got it back from rick but a way to find out is go under the truck with it running and have someone do some snaps of the throttle in park. this is what i will wind up doing .

brad is actually one of the nicest guys , while he drives an srt-10 or an sss he is a good person . imo i think srt-10 are good looking trucks with great stock power. they just sound like shit imo.

the trap has been reset again brad , lol by me with the 10.7 run @ 130 mph. should be in the mid 13x soon , 140 is my goal .

yeah i got the alignment done but i need to get new idler and pitman arms as they seem to wear out fast . lucky i still have an idlers i got for my hd and never used so ill get the pitman and that will be this next weeks project. so far so good though . tomorrow i should be throwing the interior back in and gauges to be ready for the g2g. thanks for the compliments

i got pics too!!!!
he sent it to the wrong address so ill get it tomorrow and its late today . i have been so busy with work since the other mechanic quit and im the lone ranger covering 80+ trucks on my own and undergoing alot of work on my SS , its already completely torn down. I also went to inspect the 55 bel air today but ill post more on all this in the next day or so.
i think the speedzone meet was fun and is a good idea for the next one. there is a bar and a few tracks to have fun at.
