yeah best and fastest way for sure , and your finger wont be sore the next day , buy you cant just use any die grinder you need the lower rpm version iirc it only spins like 4k rpms

its done , just keeping it happy and finishing up finding out why i have no signal to one bank o2 sensor and i had a cam code come up i think from a faulty connector . K&N keeps bugging me to make a big burnout video and i have aggreed just finding time to put work on it is tough for me with work . im tired as can be and after working on trucks all day i dont feel like doing it more when i get home.

there is one sitting at my friends shop right now from an ls9, imo you can find them aftermarket cheaper for now and imo the factory versions are ugly , they done stand out and its kind of nice seeing a big shiney or obvious blower when you pop the hood rather than something flat and engine cover looking , though more sleep and factory looking but nothing special imo. plus you dont kit a vehicle specific kit and alot of other parts need to be sourced.

If im not mistaken only an lsx 6.2 block can be directly swapped into our trucks....the new ls3 6.2 would need more work because the transmission is controlled by a tcm which our trucks don't have
the transmission and engine are completely separate so any engine can be mated to our stock 4l65e or to those who upgrade to the 80e.
any who all , gen 3 engine are a direct swap(ls1,ls6,lq4,lq9) the cam sensor and knock sensors are different on the gen 4's (ls2,ls3,ls7,lsx gmpp block) and need a relocated set of knock sensors and a different front plate with cam sensor and modded harness to work properly , and after having done it the knock sensor dont work as well in the new position on the side of the block.
to the original poster , figure your budget and there may be better options than a crate motor . upgraded stock motor . (stroking , cam and heads will be more power and direct swap )

no but i tested one of the bulbs and it lit up blue so i think it comes stock like that.

i have all the parts to do this swap but havent done it , i got a touchscreen lux nav iirc 15800001 is the part number , i got the lower 6 disc changer , harness , gps antenna and lux amp and iirc that all that is needed along with a flash of the bcm . i got mine from an 04 ish escalade , i will still retain xm , and get gps as well as a nice boost in bass since i got the higher output lux amp . there is a how to on dieselplace to do this swap.

weird this got bumped from 6 years ago , i was just 21 years old and now im going back to vegas again for new years and the plan is about the same but with more excitement . got nice rooms for us at the mgm signature , reservations at musahi(best teppan on the planet) on friday and saturday it looks like were hitting club 54 , i just hate the fact they add on 38% in fees to an already 2k table for the night that comes with two bottles . not sure i want to splurge as much after the big trip i had to new york . either way im more excited for the food than new years lol.

lol i got shut down , i drov to king tacto after not having real mexican food for over a week and i get there at 3:56 pm and they closed at 4 pm.
yesterday i got to see my two sisters i dont see often , i hvnet seen her in over 3 years since she lives in new mexico so it was a treat and we had a few drinks . didnt end up home until 3 am and then up at 7 am , im tired and ready for sleep . so far all i opened was some nic underwear and new sox
however i did get some nic brand new hoosiers, forged aluminum drag 16 wheels and billet spacers for the benz , i see low 11's once i do this new pulley and a bigger h/e but should be a 11.5 car consistanly

at least he had insurance . i think id keep it for shits and giggles i love those cars.
cars that come with great power come great responsibility , not everyone knows this and treats big hp with respect because this is exactly what happens when you dont recognize that.

just finishing up here in nyc for the past week . leaving next friday for vegas for 3-4 days / new years ,partys in vegas are alot of fun .
im trying to plan at least one big 1-2 week vacation a year from now on .
next year will be hawaii , the keys or maybe out of country , fiji and near the bahamas are on the top spot , next time i want more tropical less urban.

dry kube but i havent used it much and they are teflon lined , my truck never sees dirt anyway so its really not a factor . only debris it sees is tire smoke.

there is a seal , i just dont have the part number as i did mine recently along with the mentioned above pitman arms .
they actually dont make any noise like ball teflon ball joint can do , just keep a bit of oil on them . i dont drive my truck as much as most but more keep the wheels straight on hard launches as the stock tie rods suck and can flex and give you some mean torque steer.
the stock ones should come out iirc , remove the boot and there should be a place you can get a wrench on both side of the rod.

ok im here got a few hours sleep on the plane but nothing great. we are staying at the benjamin its pretty nice so far and im happy as it has a kitchen dinette which is kind of nice . probably go out and get breakfast here in a bit take it easy today and go for a nice dinner , then call it an early night to catch up on the missed sleep , hit it hard tomorrow and the following 6 days.

Well just paid 9 bucks to use my wifi and so far so good 4 jack n Cokes and I should be passed out here in a few and ready for a nap amd massage tommorrow am. I got some dre beats studios and itsaking the flight great . I had about three hours to kill while in the airport and was one of the lucky few to under go the full body scan.so everything is good for now cant wait for the awesome food for the entire next weeif anyone wants to grab a beer this weekend or week send me a pm and we.'ll do it up going to use the rest of my time to browse some porn and join the mile high club .......
