  1. Could be many things,hard to really say without a file. Usually if the TCC clutch is not failing or failed,and if it is not a TCC mechanical issue,there is a possibility it is in the file.
  2. Remember the 96-99 OBS suburbans? Those things had 42 gallon tanks,imagine filling that bastard up and getting 13mpg.LOL then again,it is heavy and not meant for mileage purposes IMO

  5. With that code,anytime you go WOT in PE mode,8 degrees of spark will be pulled.This code needs fixed and you will see 13's.8 degrees being pulled while this code is stored will kill your hp/tq
  6. Well some buddies and I went to the dyno this morning. Everyone did well. here are the results from my 06 crewcab Here is a few things done to it 6.0 LQ4 cam is a 228 232 243 heads milled .035,ports are UNTOUCHED Kooks longtubes PI 3800 stall torque converter 4.10's 150 shot Of course all tuning done by myself These runs were with NO nitrous 392.7 rwhp 391.61 rwtq The curve is very nice and flat and very broad.Can't really complain!! Better results and track numbers soon to come with a nice set of heads. Runs were done in 3rd gear with converter locked I will post the dyno charts up monday when i get in the office

  8. Damn the TQ is great. This was with converter unlocked as well,so it did pretty darn good.I have your TCC NOT to lockup at WOT,due to the fact it still has a stock torque converter with higher mileage,I do not want a TCC clutch failure.So locking the TCC (Torque converter Clutch) will usually net alittle higher numbers of course. They did not start the pull until pretty high in the powerband but like you said,it would downshift otherwise. Was this a 2nd or 3rd gear pull? Thanks Scooter,keep in touch Wheatley
  9. I will go ahead and enable the fans and set the temps,that way when you hook them up to the PCM,they will run for you.

  12. NO,do NOT drive down with the injectors installed when not tuned for. Going from your factory injectors to the 8.1 marine injectors is a pretty big change,the excess fuel can cause bore wash which is a serious problem.It may not be rich enough for that to happen,but driving that far it can. don't take the chance.LOL

  20. Went ahead and bought some Kooks 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 for the crewcab. Used to have the pacesetters,but it was time to step up. The fit was perfect,fit better than the pacesetter truck headers!! I dont start threads much about the truck,so figured I would this time!! Later guys Wheatley
