i was looking into buy a slightly used evo 8 to screw around in. looking for one with little to no mods so i kinda no it hasnt been ripped up.. does anyone here have one? do u like it?

well yea granted its a 2500 so the frame would be a lil heigher but u could drop the suspension a bit right? throw some wheels on and a front and rear bumper then general public wouldnt no the difference.. idk just some food for thought

my buddy at work is in the process of throwin a diesel engine in a dakota.. pretty sweet project. i was just wondering if anyone has had the idea to buy a diesel silverado and put ss parts on it and make it like like one of us but of course it would be diesel.... i think it would be pretty cool.. kinda thinkin that i might go diesel on my next truck but dont wana loose the look of the ss either... any thoughts

yea i got em 2 and i asked the dealer about them, they just told me bc th frames is the same as a z71 but idk how true that is... o well

so basically its a normal noise??

ok this may sound dumb to most of you but at idle does ur radix sound like theres a marble banging back and forth? someone said that was normal but i just wana make sure its been doing it since i got it in.. kinda more curious what it is more then theres a problem.. thanks

i used to own a 04 sea doo gtx supercharged.. was a great ski but i wouldnt buy one again only bc it was more of a gas burner then my ss.. used to own a 03 gtx di and i could run 2 8 hour full throtle days bc i needed to fill it up the gtx supercharged would only last about 6 hours maybe less.... look into the di models there alot more mpg and just as fast....

im gettin 15-16 with the radix tune, dynatech headers volant intake, and b&b exhuast stock pulley

when i was at carlisle there was a colorado with a supercharger and he was spraying nitrous in his heat exhanger in the bumper like we got on our radix ss.. he said it was better and didnt hurt the internals as much and also cooled the blower down a lil bit.. is this true or a bunch of bs?

yea were thinkin it was the dyno at least we hope so.... if anyone knows of a dyno in nj let me know so i can give it another run and see what the numbers r

yea i have the print out of it. it was a dyno on the trailor.. it was in drive whent hey did it. and we alos ran a supercharged f150 and he read out 325 and a dodge turbo desiel double chipped and it read 350 were thinkin that the dyno was just way off

well liek it says i had the ss on the dyno at carlisle.. lil disapointed with the number thought they would be a lil better? what do u guys think.. max hp 346!! thats with a radix dynatech long tube headers full b&b cat back volant intake and a tune.. i find that hard to belive.. maybe i was hyped up for something bigger thats why.. if someone has the same mods let me know ur dynoed hp to compare..

i have the stock pulley. if i put the 2.9 on there will i need new injectors or will i be ok ? how about the 3.0? i know i will need a new tune... i didnt use foam louder the better

i was at pep boys the other day and saw a chevy chrome bow tie. now sure if this is a repost but i know alot of ya are running around tryin to find one.. its made by bully. and its a perfect fit.. i think it was 20 bucks..

i was crusin the strip over in seaside heights nj along the bw and passed someone drivin in a black ss with his front bumper ducks painted black with nice chrome rims.... was this anyone here???

i found this f250 trubo desiel drivin and i was just tauntin him just to c if hed play... no go.. so i just left him so 5 min goes by and i c this huge truck plowin trew the traffic and gets me at a red light.. puts his window down and goes " do u honestly think ill risk racing my 55 thou truck to ur 25 thou pos.. what kinda engine u got?" all these questions then he asked what i paid and i told him.. he then said that everyone who bought this truck wasted there money and coulda spent it better places.. so i got pissed off and ask him if he wanted to race my pos. he said he didnt wana waste my time and burn gas for no reason..... go dam i just wanted to shut him up but he wouldnt go.. mod: radix b&b duals dyantech and volant.. later that nite i had a 3 light run in with a lighting.. had him intill my truck hit 3rd then he just took off. do u think if i get a better tuneand ditch the radix hand held and a smaller pulley i could prevent that a lil bit?

what size pulley should i upgrade to for the radix? and were should i buy it from? also if i upgrade the pulley do i need a different size belt?

holy crap is the only way i can put it.. i got my truck back friday and wow... i was out last nite tryin to pick anything i could up but i only got this lil ricer civic ehh hopefully somethign better will roll around soon.. but i sugjest anyone that doesnt hve a radix to get one...! kinda wish it was a lil louder of a wine in lower rpm but im happy... next is the 2.9 pulley. would that make it louder? and about how much more hp increase?
