  1. My money is on it being on ebay within 6 months
  2. Thanks for the votes guys keep it up, I'll pass the compliments along. I wish they had something with vocals uploaded, the full sound is freaking awsome
  3. Thanks to everyone who's voted, they are out to a nice lead pulling down almost 50% of the vote now. If you haven't yet please do vote it takes 2 seconds Brobrad-I'm not sure why it's doing that, it's reconizing your IP as already voting for some reason. Thanks for trying anyway!
  4. Hey guy I need a quick favor hit this link and vote for my buddies band real quick. They are in a battle of the bands competition and need everyone's votes. They do kick ass, thanks for the help Here's a rough cut of their music if you want to check it out. They are still in the studio recording, so there's no vocals or remastering on there yet. http://www.box.net/shared/01uzzz5cmx Here's the link for the voting, the band is "Almost Human" http://entertainment.anthemevents.com/BattleVoting.php5 Thanks again guys
  5. I hope they put 28 Faction from sirius onto XM or something similar at least.
  6. 4Runner=engine sludge problems I wasn't real impressed with the H3 when I drove one, it didn't seem to have much power and had pretty bad blind spots. I'd check out the Envoy, the interior is alot nicer in that one than the trailblazer, unless you go SS that is
  7. are you looking for the invoice amount or the GMS price? They should show you the invoice, with GMS deals it is what it is. Should be quick and easy, the price will be the same no matter where you go
  8. I'm going to guess that since they said up to 63,000 miles you're between 50,000 and 60,000 right now? For a 2003 between 50-60K Cost is: 36Month/30Kmiles-$1,375 $100 deduct 48Month/32Kmiles-$1,815 $100 deduct 24Month/24Kmiles-$1,090 $100 deduct I don't have my MSRP book here in front of me but going off the margins that are there I'm pretty sure that's what they are quoting you. If your mileage isn't between 50K and 60K let me know and I'll look up the right costs for you BTW the 36month/30K major guard warranty has a cost of $1,730 with a $100 deduct, that's the way I would go, it covers so much more for a pretty small difference in cost. PM me if you have any other questions, I don't check this board as often as I used to and I might miss it if you post here. ~Pete
  9. yeah that sounds pretty high to me, I'll look up cost on it tomorrow when I get to work.
  10. I laugh at it now but it wasn't so funny at the time...
  11. come on you guys don't really believe that she left her name and forgot her number was disco do you?? Someone saw her (or him) do it and they faked a note. I got one on my old exploder that said "The people that saw me hit your car think I'm leaving a note, sorry about your luck"
  12. I've had a few, forgot to put oil in once and forgot to tighten lugs once. Kinda long but worth it My favorite dumb story had to be from the dealership though, we had a new salesman, real dumbass in his early 30's. I was changing out showroom cars one day and the one he was moving had a dead battery. So he comes trotting over to tell me, I told him to grab the jump box and start it. So he goes and gets the box gets the hood up and just kinda stands there. I realize pretty quick that he has no idea how to jump a car. I ask him what he's doing and he admits that he doesn't know how to do it. So I tell him to take everything metal out of his pockets and match the colors on the cables to the battery. He asks why and I tell him that the electricty will arc and could fry your nuts if you have metal in your pockets. One of the other guys standing around agrees with me and makes up some story about it happening to his buddy. Well he bought it hook line and sinker, this went on for about two months, the whole dealership was in on it. Somehow we all managed to remeber to take everything out of our pockets if he was around. I even pretended to get shocked one day. Well finally I watch him out front with a customer when a car wouldn't start, he goes out and starts taking everything out of his pockets. I walk outside to listen, the customer looks at him kinda funny and starts laughing, he sees me trying not to laugh and asks what he's doing. The salesmen tells him about electricity blowing off your balls and the customer loses it. I couldn't hold it in anymore and started laughing my ass off. Needless to say he was pissed, he went storming into the GM's office and the GM started laughing at him too. He quit later that day, after he quit the GM walks up and says I can't believe you guys still had that going and starts laughing...Poor guy I almost feel bad about it, almost..
  13. I wanted to either manage a ski resort or be a professional driver. Not a race car driver but like the guys in comercials and doing stunts. You know when it says professional driver do not attempt? I wanted to do that. I've been to a few driving schools and do all my own stunts, cops aren't usually too amused. I actually started college as a sports med major, stuck with that till I did an internship with the Carolina Panthers and figured out that pro athletes are pricks. So I switched to Business Admin. I worked as a BS middle manager for an insurance company after college and then stumbled into selling cars. I've been at it a little over three years now and I'm doing F&I for a small dealership. My mom still asks why they paid all that money to send me to college to sell cars but hey I've got it to fall back on if I get sick of this and that's never bad. My grandmother is 82 and still says she doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up.
  14. I've watched this thread and bit my tounge, but you couldn't be anymore wrong. GM does audit dealers on warranty claims, they don't just say it's a defect and they fix it. I've been waiting for pictures of this clear coat "sunken in" as you put it... What does that even mean... Anyway I'm assuming since you haven't posted pictures that it's a very minor thing that probably wouldn't show up. Bottom line is paint is almost impossible to warranty unless the clear coat is peeling off otherwise it ain't happening. Sorry make sure you order the heated tailgate on your ford out
  15. Dropped some new chrome on my tahoe today, it's my new tow rig since the SSS got totaled. I think I'm going to put some chrome door handles and mirror caps on to finish it out. I've been looking at like a 2" drop but I'm a little worried how it will ride with the boat back there if I drop it. Here's a couple pics
  16. I've got one in my laptop bag heading to Vegas as soon as I get to work in the morning, I can't forget it in the AM again this time!! Look for it in a envelope from a car dealer in MD, you know it's going out on the bosses dime
  17. I've still got to send mine out as well, should get done tomorrow. Sorry I'm such a slacker
  18. I have seen both of them in person when the trucks delivers our solstices at work. In person, I like the exterior of the solstice better, espically the GXP (same motor as the red line). I do think the Sky has a better looking interior though. We sell about 50% autos in the solstice. Mostly becasue anyone over about 6' will have a hard time shifting a manual in that car, it's just too tight.
  19. And yet the google ads that were supposed to gone are still here
  20. Hopefully it means they will trim the fat *cough*Howard*cough*
  21. Pretty sweet but $50 seems kinda salty for a 2x4 banner
