Spoke to someone via online chat they said that part # would not work, it's only for 04-05 SS. Russell's web page doesn't show anything specific for 03 SS and for 99-04 GMC/Silverado 4WD it has the same part #, so WTF gives.

That is the part # I found as well , but then I read this post going back awhile "I bought Russell Steel Braided Brake 672430 lines for my 04 SSS and the fitting on the brake line on the truck is different than than the fitting it connects to on the line from the kit. It seems the kit is standard thread and the truck is metric. Has anyone seen this before or am I missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks " There didn't seem to be a resolution to this problem either.

Can anyone provide a Part # for steel braided brake flex lines for the 03 SS, searching some previous post there seemed to be some confusion and I don't want to order the wrong ones.(Russell).Thanks

Does that spongy brake pedal feel improve at all after this upgrade?

No has nothing to do with gas mileage. The reason I'm asking is I purchased my second SS this fall after selling my first one about 9 years ago which I totally regret, didn't have her for long. Being in the automotive trade I decided to take a chance on this SS and it has a whopping 400,000km (248,000 miles) :driving:and runs like a dream. So I was just wondering if anyone else was pushing close to this.

What kind of mileage to you guys have on your trucks, looking for the highest.

Looks really good , can't wait to do this upgrade bc these trucks don't stop worth a sh*t and the brake pedal feel is scary at times. Where do you find the Silverado SS decals on the calipers?

Well in one of my emails to Shopman1 dated 06/12/13 we had reached the #'s for the go ahead and he said he hopes to have them by next week which makes it this week, and would have them shipped out ASAP, so I'd say sometime next week or just before christmas
