  1. I went with a yukon diff.Same design as an eaton, but it was a little cheaper.Works great in mine.
  2. I'm interested in the pedals. Could you post some pictures?
  3. It must be an older model on ebay. I'll probably take you up on the wiring info next week. I just didn't like a couple of the "local guys" around here telling me I would have to wait until mid-february for the install. The 562T is what you would recommend though? Thanks again,
  4. ***Scheduled Maintenance For This Week*** January 03, 2007 | 11:42AM PST/PT The eBay system will be undergoing general maintenance from approximately 23:00 PT on Thursday, January 4th to 01:00 PT on Friday, January 5th. During this maintenance period, certain eBay site features may be intermittently unavailable or slow. Ebay sucks!! the remote is a DEI Valet 552T remote start keyless entry with two remotes and extra channels for door locks or to open trunk. It's on ebay for a buy it now for $57.00. The ad says new in box. I was just wondering if anyone here was using this set-up
  5. I figured i would see if there is anybody here that has this set-up http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DEI-VALET-5...1QQcmdZViewItem I called around a few local places for a remote start for the girlfriends Olds Alero. everyone is telling me this is a real busy time of year and I would be about a month out on the install. I'm just looking for a remote start that would work with the factory power locks. we don't need the full-blown alarm system. I thought if it isn't a real big hassle, i could buy and install one myself. If anyone has any recommendations on domeplace besides ebay or best buy to get a good remote start, let me know. thanks.
  6. Add me to the list of people wanting the roll pan. Regency won't sell them to the general public (they want a vin #).
  7. Thats how mine was too. I never had any problems with it coming loose. Glad it showed up for ya!
  8. I'm getting rid of my scan gauge in my truck. It's the old style interceptor gauge (does not have shift light, horsepower, etc) It is blue with black background. Works excellent. Cool little tool for monitoring iat, coolant, trans temp, etc Here is the link for their site http://www.aeroforcetech.com/index.html I'm thinking $150.00 shipped sounds fair. Pm me if more details are needed.
  9. The outlaw is a great piece! Might trade the truck in soon, putting stuff back to original condition. That is the only reason i'm getting rid of it.
  10. I have an outlaw cold air kit for the radix supercharger.Part isnm-0023. Has approx 4,000 miles.I also have an extra housing with the bottom cut out. Excellent condition. Looking to get $100.00 plus shipping costs
  11. I thought both sides went all the way back to hold them all up, why is the driver's side different? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe the 5.3 is cast differently When i did mine the bar only went in half-way on the drivers side bank. I didn't want to force it. The pen magnets held the other lifters up though.
  12. Just got this one in Minnesota, 8 points,205 lbs dressed out. Shot him about 125 yards with a 7mm.
  13. Another idea would be to go to your hardware store and buy some 5/16 steel rod I made two of these and it only costed about $4.00 the tool doesn't go all the way in on the drivers side bank anyway (you have to use pen magnets to hold the lifters up).
  14. Thanks for the help. Thats what makes this site good to hang out on.
  15. Anybody here have a carfax account? I looked at an 06 Colorado with 17,000 miles tonight. Just looking for a little history on it. Vin # 1GCDT146968162636 I want to make sure it hasn't been in an accident or something. Thanks for any help.
  16. Got it back together and running smooth. I dodged a bullet on the O-ring gaskets. Thanks for the input guys.
  17. Can anyone here answer a question for me? I was doing a cam swap, and one of the magnets that was supposed to hold the lifter came apart inside by the lifter I pulled the intake and head, called the local dealer for the head gaskets and bolts. My question is can the O-ring gaskets on the radix be reused? Any help would be great.
  18. Two weeks ago, Mine took a dump too. I got the 10-bolt with 3:73 gears. The G-80 came apart and took out two teeth on the ring gear. They replaced it with a yukon posi (same design as an eaton). The tech told me this is common with the factory G-80 posi. Mine came apart @ 30mph and it started rolling. the spider gears were fine. The roll pin that holds the axles back was in two pieces. The case was cracked too. It was covered under warranty too!!
  19. I still have the 3.6 pulley. I'm waiting until I get a few more miles on it before I swap pullies. I've already had two transmission issues that were covered under warranty. On the Gibbs warranty, you don't have to bring it to GM dealer for repairs. Any repair shop will work. I'm probably going with the 3.4 or 3.2 pulley. 11 psi would need some custom tuning.
  20. These guys have a puller and a gibbs pulley http://www.southfloridapulleyhq.com/SFPH/g..._dub_system.htm
  21. What do you do to help with traction? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The 13.8 was when the track was just prepped. I try to leave off idle. If I build boost or flash the converter, it spins too much. I'm thinking some 18" nitto drag radials would be a big help.
