  1. That's so true. The only dead body I've ever seen is in a casket at a funeral. The first time I was 7, and it really freaked me out. Ever since it takes me a minute to go view the body at a funeral, and still I'm not real comfortable with it. I can not imaginewhat those kids are going through that actually saw it happen, or the ones that saw the body in a pool of blood. They are in our prayers.
  2. That's usually a redneck's last words.
  3. I'm not busting anyone's chops, just saying that everyone is busy living their lives (moving, job, family, etc) Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh I know. Don't I know it all too well. It just sounds like we might get more than you, me, and Bman out for a change. Besides, I need a good excuse to clean the truck up, and take it somewhere.
  4. I had to mis that one, but you're right. It really souds like we might get a good showing this time, though. I'm finding, through pimp ss, that there are quite a few SS's in and around Denton. We just need to get them to come out.
  5. I put some General Grabber UHPs on mine a couple of months ago. $124 each at Discount Tire. So far they handle water and dry pavement very well. I'm definitely pleased, but you may be going for more cornering performance that I. Speaking of Fuelslut, where's he been lately?
  6. I am not sure how much room we need. At my last count this morning if everyone showed up is like 9-10 trucks so how much room do we really need? I dont like parking next to people but this would be the exception because we all have nice trucks and I would not be worried about y'all dinging me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We need all the room we can get. When we get there we'll just throw eveyone else out.
  7. Works for me I'm in the only thing I would have to figure out is how to keep my truck clean for the drive down there <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Should be easy if it's not raining. Is the Hooter's parking lot big enough? Maybe if the weather's good we can take over a Sonic or something.
  8. Guy sounds like a real piece of work. I feel the same way about bad shops in automotive. Give all the good ones a bad name. Good luck. That's why I don't do business with friends or family.
  9. exactly! three fools tried to jump me one time. at first i ran cuz they said they had a gun...but once i realized they didn't have a gun, it was on. even though i turned around and beat their asses, i still don't know who they were. i want to get their names and find out where they work and go do more damage to their faces. i think one guy is missing some teeth. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> These kids need to put down the weapons and fight like a real man. If I got jumped by a buch of punks I may get my ass whooped, but it aint gonna be easy. I garrantee they'll work for it. Real hard.
  10. I appreciate what the military does for us doing what I am not wanting to do and that is go to war BUT I do get tired of the ones who join the military in peace time just doing so to get a free education and what not but when called to war get mad about having to go. Thats like wanting to be a Police officer and getting mad because you get shot at. Hello you knew the risk when you signed up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If he is going to be adamant about not going to war then he needs to go to jail.
  11. Very cool. Welcome to the real world with the rest of us slobs. It does feel good to have your own place. Enjoy.
  12. I don't believe that it will. It used a different part number than even the painted truck bumper. I haven't seen one apart, so I don't know what the difference is, but you could always try to make it work.
  13. That's right I don't even look out the front window, I just concentrate on the tach - the tach tells me how I'm doing! Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What a wacky guy.
  14. Just put in another quart of Mobil 1. Don't mess with Slick 50. I may get flamed, but it seems that it is more harmful than good, in my experience.
  15. It is a eurethane fascia over a steel bumper/reinforcement. And yes, it is different than the standard pick up bumper.
  16. Oh my god ... Were dating outselves ... Tom & Jerry ruled!!!! Don't forget ... Smurfs Snorkels Jabber Jaws <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. My favorite WB character is Foghorn Leghorn. Also Pink Panther, Mister Jaws, Speed Buggy.
  17. No, they don't satisfy you with a temporary "band-aid" till your warranty runs out, and if you have to go back every 1K miles for the same problem, then find another dealer. It is in the best interest of the dealer to have satisfied customers. They want you to keep buying their product. I had both my front and rear diffs rebuilt under warranty for a whining noise at 33K miles. No problems since.
  18. WTF are you talking about? You could care less about warranty. Doea this mean you'd rather pay for the repairs than get it done for free? Time is money, then you must have alot more money than time. Warranty is the equivalent of a reach around? WTF does that mean?
  19. unless over 3 years <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True, but, with such low milage they should goodwill anything major like differential whine.
  20. Are you using the DIC to figure milage, or the old fashioned way? Are you resetting the DIC every fill up? I get around 14.5-15 with mixed driving. When I first bought it with 21K miles I used conventional oil. At 31K I switched to synthetic, and picked up 1-1.5 MPG. So it definitely did something. A tune is on my list, and from what I've heard that's the biggest bang for the buck.
