Same here. I want a hard toneau cover, Supermaxx headers, cowl hood, and a tune, but I know I'm not getting it. We're doing more for the kids (son 3 1/2; daughter2) anyway. That's who the presents need to be for. The adults need to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

And actually the 400SS stickers are a GM part. 15788027 is the part number, and they are the Mexico export version. It's just a decal in this case. Nothing else.

That sounds to be a bit much to me. Suspension stuff is $100 each. Just that you're looking at $900. Where they come up with $2000 in labor.

Be sure to move it all the way in and back out. You don't want to short stroke it. The noise will come back.

Why?

The popular car when I was in HS was the IROC Z28. I wanted one soooooo bad, but my parents told me to go to work and earn the money to pay for it. Never got one, btw (ended up buying a 70 GTO instead). My point is, now I can get what I want, and I have a much better appreciation for it, and I'm glad my parents made me work for what I want instead of handing it to me.

there's a local town here that announced the other day that they will no longer post the honor roll in the town paper because of the disappointment of the students that didn't make it. another town last year stopped using red ink to correct homework because of the embarassment suffered by students with bad grades. SCREW THAT!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a town here that had HS cheerleader tryouts, I believe 25 or so girls tried out for 12 spots. The parents of the ones that didn't make it complained to the school that it was too hard (WAAAAA), so they let everyone that tried out be on the squad. Then the parents of the originals that made it complained that it was unfair to let all of them on the squad. Some people are doing a great disservice to their kids by trying to protect them from failure/disappointment. Because they are going to encounter it at some point in their life. The sooner they lean to deal with it, the better.
