  1. It is a real nice quality piece.
  2. You would think that, but there is such a limited production on these cars. Here we a list of customers wanting the cars, so they're pretty much sold before they're even unloaded. If the person at the top of the list backs out, doesn't want it, or whatever, call the next one. There may be some in other parts of the country, just not here. They should at least try to find you one as quickly as possible.
  3. Like someone said, you wont be happy till you get what you want.
  4. Listen carefully!! Put down the crack pipe, and slooooooowy back away!!!!
  5. "God create internal combustion, because he really hates you."
  6. This new level of sickness requires action. We need to protest the protesters <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe that's exactly what needs to happen. We as the silent majority need to stop being silent. We'll stand back and let one person complain about something like the pledge having the words "under God" in it. This one nut job can have something removed that thousands if not millions of people want left in. We need to stand up for OUR rights, just like the nut jobs of the world stand up for theirs. And there's alot more of us.
  7. Wow! I thought mine was good. 03 bought in 04 with 21K miles loaded, OnStar, XM, for $23400.
  8. The TSB is for a hissing noise. It probably will work fine after that, bedcause I bet it's just a little low on charge. So, when they replace the line they'll fill it up. When I worked aftermarket parts we did some labor there. One of which was rechanging A/C systems. When the laws became strict in the early 90s we had to be certified to recover/recharge, and I was one that was certified for A/C repair.
  9. Is it done yet? Why not? What are you wainting for? J/k. That's gonna look good.
  10. That doesn't sound right to me. You should have enough space between the two not to cause a problem. You don't have to drain and refill to see if it's low or not. You see that with the guages, pressure readings. The temperature does make a difference, but you take that into consideration when checking/charging the system. Did they find a leak?
  11. The Nova's pretty cool. Looks like someone did a pretty decent job on it.
  12. When mine was under warranty I had to have the fan clutch replaced, because it wasn't pulling air at low speeds. I know you do alot of driving. Maybe bug/dirt stuck in the fins?
  13. I thought that was great. Those people don't deserve the time of day let alone the airtime to speak their BS. They have absolutely no clue that the soldiers they protest fight for their right to say stupid sh1t. We need to gather them up, and take them to the middle of a desert with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Since you're so high and mighty, live here. The Lord will provide for you.
  14. We have a Pro Street Mustang up here, the guy has run 6.80s on a 10" tire! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess suspension technology has finally caught up to us. It's still amazing that you can do that on a 10" tire.Btw, that's a baaaaad car. Launches perfect. Straight and low.
  15. He said Hooters..... Not Taco Bell!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  16. I also had a 1994 Chevy ex cab. Teal green with tan leather. That was a good truck, but I like my SS better. It's about time they pick on the ricers.
  17. Done. DUDE, that's just f-ed up.
  18. A friend of mine on Pontiac Zone that's in the UK has started their own forum just for people there with American cars. I'd heard they were popular overseas, but I had no idea.
  19. The two go hand in hand, assuming the system is working properly. But, if it's not the pressures/guages can point you in the right direction for repair. Do you notice if the compressor cycles on and off quite a bit?
  20. The old sight glass went away in the late 70s on GM cars when they went to the accumulator/orfice tube setup. About the only way to really tell is to hook it up to a manifold guage to check the pressures. I have the guages, and can help you out with that I you need it. There are a couple of issues with late model A/C systems. One is the low pressure cycling switch mounted on the accumulator, and the second is the high side service fitting leaking. The switch is an easy fix, but the fitting you have to drain the system to repairit. The WOT thing is a WOT switch that shuts off the compressor to give full power. It sounds like you're just low on freon.
