  1. Wow, that's pretty interesting. I wouldn't have thought that 2" in diameter would have made 2 tenths difference. I guess it changes the final drive ratio that much, or they're just that mjuch heavier. Good stuff.
  2. The all in one is kick ass, but if you do some of the Z2 on top of it you will be amazed at how much better and deeper it shines.
  3. There must be a gremlin that lives in that truck somewhere. When he get hungry he takes a bite out of something.
  4. I can apreciate the work involved, and the suspension components are heavy duty. Just not my thing.
  5. Fact of the matter is that the man is dead, and left behind a wife and two daughters that will have to grow up without their daddy. Whether you like police or not is beside the point. Your comment shows blatant disrespect, not to mention bad taste. This is one of those times where your opinion shoul;d have been kept to yourself. I had hopped that a mod or admin would have removed the original post by now.
  6. I'm kind of with Quik on this one. It look like more of a tunnel ram style intake, which would be more of an upper RPM intake. Look damn nice, but probably not very street friendly.
  7. Monday a Plano, TX. police officer was killed in a crash when a car hit his motorcycle. The funelal is in the Lewisville/Denton area, so the Proccession went north on I35. The hiway was blocked off, and it was a single file line. The first mile was patrol motorcycles 2 by 2, followed by the limo and hearse, then family, and patrol cars. This stretched for about 5-6 miles if not more. This is the first time I have seen a police funeral in person. Very moving, and most impressive I must say. Our prayers go out to his family. R.I.P. Officer Dayle Weston Hardy.
  8. I get mine straight from the lake.
  9. That's probably the best technique with a stock truck. Most tracks have a way to avoid the water box, especially on street nights as alot of cars will be on street tires. Just play with it, and have fun.
  10. The don't buy gas day is a bust. So, the day before and the day after gas stations will be busy. You're also right about bicycle, or public transportation, not every area has it. I have a 16 mile trip down a major interstate. I ain't riding bike. I'm a big guy, so eceonoboxes are out. There is probably no real solution, yet, as we've become acustom to our vehicles so we have no chioce but to buy gas. Partial solution would be carpooling, not taking unneccessary trips, or not taking the regular family vacation. If one or two people do it, it won't really matter, but if everyone does it, it may hit them where it hurts.
  11. Give her a mushroom print upside her head and be done with it.
  12. I just really gets me. Nothing else in the market is as sensative as gasoline. The prince of Saudi Arabia cuts a load fart, or sneezes one too many times and the price jumps .20. The threat of a hurricane off the coast of Antarctica makes it jumps .50.
  13. Yeah, even the best neighborhoods get little punks tearing stuff up.
  14. They're pretty cool most of the time.
  15. Probably a bad control head.
  16. It'll only "rot" when you let one sit for months, or years, at a time. If you drive it 1-2 times a week then you're fine. But, like Hank said, go by time on maintenence, not milage.
  17. I'd have to say your secretary. Sorry for her loss, but the dog got out of the collar, and probably ran out before the driver could stop.
  18. It's sad when people die from someone elses stupidity or lack of good judgement.
  19. Nope. It has not. It is pretty sad that this type of thing goes on.
