  1. Thr thing I've noticed about most Euro cars is that they arem't big on low end torque, but have a good top end charge.
  2. Front parts counter at a Chevy dealer, so I know what you mean about stupid customers.
  3. Search through this section. There are a couple of good threads about trans coolers, and installation with pics.
  4. Yikes!! A pelican I can see doing some serious damage. I just got hit with a little sparrow, or something like that. Just scared the sh1t out of me.
  5. Answers my question, too. Good enough.
  6. That's a new one on me. My garndmother hit a bull years ago, tore her car smooth up. Father in law took out a deer. Bore a headlight and grill. I've had birds hit the windshield, and hit a dog once. But, no crocs/gators. Glad everything is ok.
  7. From everthing I've read, and heard, the Z2 needs to be applied to a clean surface. We have pretty hard water in my area, so it leaves some spots. I just did it to make it nice and clean. If you're one of those that towel/chamios their vehicle off, then you could just go straight to it.
  8. I did the all in one on mine about a month ago, and loved the results so much I got the other 2 on a recomendation from a friend. I used the detailer after a wash to take the waterspots off, then finished with the Z2. It gave it more of a deep shine wet look to it, and it much smoother to the touch.
  9. Why do we have ads for other brands on here? There is a big Dodge banner ad at the top of the page, and in the first post of the threads. Plus, I see stuff for Toyota, Nissan, ect. This is SilveradoSS.com, and the Silverado is built by Chevrolet. Not that there's anything wrong with Toyota or Nissan, I just think it's like Coca Cola advertising Pepsi. Not trying to be a smart ass, but I just find it bothersome.
  10. Get some of the Z6 spray detailer, and Z2 clear coat polish. Wash it, use the spray detailer, then follow with the Z2. The shine is amazing, and the protection is outstanding.
  11. I believe the 841350 is headers with cats for a 6.0.
  12. There's one pretty close to me with a pretty big lot. Plenty of parking.
  13. Nope. I'm hoping to slowly start the modding process.
  14. My payment has been sent. I can't wait I can't wait I can't wait.
  15. That's about as catastrophic as it gets.
  16. I don't go to Starbucks but once in a great while. I have this thing about $5.00 for a cup of coffee, but if I'm in Barnes and Noble on a winter day I'll indulge. Not any more. This needs to be brought to light, so they can be run out of business.
  17. Someone needs to tell these guys that they are Chevy trucks, not Hondas.
  18. We just updated our parts catalog, and we're finding a lot of incomplete information in it. I know that the 4.3, 4.8, and 5.3 1/2 ton 2WD regular and extended cabs use coil springs with rack and pinion steering. 4WD, 3/4 ton and larger, and full sized SUVs use torsion bars with recirculating ball steering. Basically, any heavier duty application uses torsion bars. It may be that any truck with a 6.0 is considered a heavier application, so it uses bars. I have never looked under a 2WD SS or VHO, so I'm curious to know, but it seems that the responses here point to bars.
  19. That's the one I want. I also like the Gaylord with the Speedstur wing, but they're pricey. So instead, I'm going with one of those and find an Intimidator wing.
  20. The one here in Lewisville is good.
