  1. Just curious. I know Texas, Califonia are well represented.
  2. Nevermind. I must have been on crack. They do offer them pre painted. Blue-15188000 Black-15187998 Red-15228542 Silver-15228543 Never had to look up a painted one till now.
  3. Just got mine replaced yesterday, and I'm at 60K miles. No charge. It's nice and quiet now. If you think Toyota is without problems then you're in for a rude awakening. Just read you work in a dealership.....I guess that helps in getting replacements for free What our service manager told me was that it's a known problem, and has been for a while, as we all know. I would just about garantee that if you went to them, and raised a little stink that they would do it. He told me that if they'll do it for Joe Shmo off the street, then he'll do it for an employee.
  4. I found a concrete cleaner at Home Depot by Kleen Strip that works well, too. Same procedure, pour it on, scrub it in, hose it off.
  5. There ain't snow that far south in Texas. The parts guy was half right. The SSS is color keyed, but the replacement bezels are paint to match.
  6. Nice job in keeping your cool. You've handled it very well.
  7. That's a tough one for me. I love music, so it's hard to narrow it down to a band or two. Rock for sure, mainly from the late 70s through the 80s. The Cars, Journey, Boston, Styx. Southern rock for sure .38 Special, Lynard Skynard, Molly Hatchet. The list goes on.
  8. Dear Mister P, I think you should fix it yourself rather than pay the out rageous labor rates of the H-D dealer.
  9. His login was GEAR M UP. He was a very good contributing member here, and was building a baaaad SSS. He died suddenly. Just died while sitting at a stoplight. I believe he was 37 or so? Left a wife and 2 or 3 children, I believe. RIP
  10. Isn't he the pilot that inspired the fictional movie of "Behind Enemy Lines"? Yes he is, but he said the movie os NOTHING like what really happened. If you ever get a chance to hear his story, DO IT. It'll give you a little taste of what our servicemen and women go through, and give you a sense of pride in America.
  11. Let me add another tid bit. I had an opportunity to hear Scott McGrady speak a couple of week ago. For those who don't know, he was an F16 pilot who was shot down over Bosnia in 93-94. He spent 6 days running from the enemy waiting to be rescued. The story of his ordeal is amazing, and gives me a true appreciation for what our military does.
  12. I believe that the vast majority of the country supports the brave men and women of our armed forces 100%. Those who don't need to realize that these people sacrifice themselves, so you can have free speech, or just freedom in general to say stupid things. The news just seems to focus more on the liberal nutjobs out there, but that does not reflect the overall sentiment of this country. Tell everyone over there to be safe, and when you get back you'll see for yourself how we really feel.
  13. I thought maybe you had contracted OMS (Old man syndrome). I see this is not the case. BTW, what bridge?

  15. I totally agree. And just as soon as the tree-huggin, flag burnin, commie pinko fag liberals get their feet off our necks, we will do just that!!! P.S. Is that politically correct? Sounds PC enough to me. We need to stand up to the tree hugin', flag burnin', commie pinko fag liberals, because I really believe that there are alot more of us than there are of them. Besides, most of those Green Peace, ACLU types all you'd have to do is give them a thump, and they'll curl up in a little ball, crying like a manbitch.
