Want a 400 block? I've got the 1970 block rusting away here on an engine stand, guarantee it good you will just have to have it honed. Hell on my next trip to Lewisville I'll drop it off. Also, I've got an armasteel crank from a 65 389 GTO if you know anyone in the market, It's rusted but I'm sure it will turn down ok. Mr. P. I sold a 70 about a year and half ago. I knew that car inside and out.

Regrets are a killer. What kind of Pontiac are you thinking of? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Either a 66-67 GTO or a 77-79 T/A. 4 speed prefferably. I already have an engine combo picked out. I have a set of #13 heads, and one of the engine builers over at PZ (Pacific Performance Racing) has some cranks that are a 3" main with a 4" stroke. Combine that with a 400 block and have a small journal 428.

A little too much for me. I'm more of the old skool clean look, but that's just me. If you like it, go for it.

I try not to curse on here, or at least edit the word, because some people may have kids that look on with them, or read some of the posts. It's more out of respect for others.

It's very thought provoking. Good read. I judge a person by their merits rather than skin color. I have no use for racism, or racists. Hopefully it will die off if we can teach our children not to hate. Sadly, it probably wont happen in my lifetime, but we can all do our part to one day erradicate it.

No wonder the crank was frozen. What was that, a chunk of a rod lodged in there? You know it bad when you pull the pan and the top half of the piston is is in there. Good luck on the new one.

Not worth doing - use a premium Cometic or SCE gasket & larger diameter ARP head studs (from W2W). Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've heard alot of peple using Comrtic gaskets, but never looked into them. My last build was my GN back in 95. I need to get with the times.
