  15. Man that was a great time....I was in two wheel drive cruzin down the little two lane highway, but after it happened... we figured what the heck might as well keep drinking it wasn't looking like we were going to be going anywhere anytime soon.
  16. So Mexico was a lot of fun We got there on thursday and had the beach all to ourselves. And Then we Drank... And enjoyed the beach with friends But on the last day it got really windy, lots of sand and 2 lost tents! Then somewhere in the middle of nowhere 40miles from the border, the front driveshaft decided to come off... severed all my electrical, both fuel lines, my rear brake lines, and cracked my transfer case! As you can tell I was thrilled.... But help came in the form of a tow truck We made it across the border And with the help of some good friends willing to drive down to the border in SSS to tow us back... We made it home ok, Right back here to the good ole United States! So I have my work cut out for me, and I'm darn lucky to have not lost a foot or worse. as you can see the front drive shaft made a nice hole in the floorboard and pushed it up about 6 inches! Overall it was one of the best Mexico trips I've ever had, Just a laid back time in the sand, enjoying the salt air, and the sun!
  17. pretty cool if you ask me... who know's this may acutally happen.... well find out on the next believe it or not...
  18. So would this be a bad time to go to mexico? Cuz I'm leaving tomorrow for Circus Mexicus! It should be a good time, and I'm not worried. And if anyone in the south west would care to join it's on saturday.... In Puerto Penasco or Rocky Point for those spanish challended individuals. Plenty of places to stay, or CAMP... but is it really camping with the beach showers and a bar 100'ft away from your camp.... Sorry about the hijack. And no I wouldn't dream of taking the SSS down there... but this makes for a good Mexico Wagon..
  19. Fox, it's a pretty good place... I've been all over the country and still I come back here. Most people love it here, some well they don't, mostly it's the summers their pretty hot but as long as you have ac your golden. let me know if you have any questions.

  21. Man sorry to hear that.... 26 is pretty young just about the time we start to really get to enjoy all the other things in life that are most important. God Speed to your freind my prayers are with his family.
  22. I think it's something that will hurt their cause more than they will help it. When Immigrants make up something like less than 35% total of our unskilled workforce I don't think that it will bring us to a screeching halt. Most of those people are legal in this country and it really doesn't matter to them if they shut down the border because they did it right and can come back.... So nothing bad I believe that every american has rights protected under the constution... unfortunatly an illeagle immigrant does not... simply because they first broke the law by coming in, and second they are not a citizen. So I don't think we can just ship them all back our government has allowed this for too long... too many families such like the one employed by the DVK, to do that. But I would support a temporary worker program, not citizenship, and possible the persons may live here without coming back, but not having the rights as an american citizen, ie to vote or such, but to live work and enjoy our great county. But if they break the law, or fail to re-register, sorry they get to go back and re-apply starting from the beginning like everyone else. anyway that's my $0.02
