I am looking into getting a foglight kit to throw on truck, behind my scoops. I dont need bulbs really, but I'd like to get housings, wiring, and the switch. If anyone has 1 or knows of 1, lemme know.

I never saw this thread. I've got the Street Scene cover, and had NO fit issues whatsoever. I did it twice in fact b/c of the collision with the deer. Both times, no issues. The statement about the cladding is true, the OEM is wider than the Street Scene, so without the cladding, it'll stick out a bit.

Grilles for the lower, and this is for the Street Scene cover - 95078143

OK - Admitting I am still new to the SSS, so maybe it is because I'm a newbie but-
Something still feels out of place here. Were whiteface guages a factory option?
Who buys a new truck, modifies it, then parks it for 5-6 years, AND THEN sells it for a loss? And isn't that a big ding by the tailgate/bed/bumper under the badging on the tailgate?

The white face cluster was standard in the SSS

2 wheel drive or 4?

I have the speed grilles in my Silverado, and I had no problems with my install. The clips work if you're patient. I did it twice(b/c of a deer collision) and it was an easy install both times.

Yea, it works, but it looks gawd awful.

ahh man! I'm looking for an 05 grille in black to replace my chrome and white one over on the left in avatar. That would of been so easy for us both being local, oh well... Good luck man!
That grille wont work for you anyway unless you buy a new hood too, so better off anyway.

Thanks alot man!

I am wanting a project pretty much indentical to that, except I want power it with an old smaller detroit diesel.
-
Nice!! I'd rock it as much as possible.

Hard to tell, but that thing looks rough!

WOW!! Looks like I did do good with this one. Thanks for your input guys.
I was hoping I wasn't just being selfish (and wanting this Camaro SS for me). HAHAHA!!!
We bought this one at Toys-R-Us 2 weeks ago. They had them on sale & we had one of those $25.00 Off cards (from previous purchases there). They come in red also, and I haven't seen/heard of any other colors. It has 3 speeds; 1 reverse, a 2.5 MPH 1st, and a 5 MPH 2nd forward gear. A single bolt has to be removed from the shifter to obtain the higher speed. I will remove it after my girl has mastered driving this car. LOL!!
I just know she will love the FM radio- She's def a music girl, always trying to jack with mine in the truck. This Camaro also has a port in the radio for listening to an Ipod...

Really?, In a power wheels? That's just awesome. I cant wait to have kids just for stuff like this. Haha

I am just gonna throw my worthless 2 in here. I bought a grille from CBR, easily, no problems so I cant say anything bad about him personally, he was patient with me as I was as well. Sounds like a shitty situation to be in, but we do need to be adults about this. Also, I will say there is nothing bad to say about KC either, he was patient with me when I was trying to buy a block from him, and I declined after much interest just due to holidays, and trying to remodel, he was very cool about it all. Again, cant we all just drink beer and be friends? LoL

Sadly, I do not feel there is any real collector value in the 2nd gen SS Silverado. The production volume and no numbering sequence alone limits their value. I would enjoy the truck for what it is now and just hope for a good resale market in the future.
What he said.

You think Tail of the Dragon is something, try the Devil's Triangle. Nice pics tho!

I have a grille, just cant decide if I want an OEM hood, or a cowl induction.
-
If he doesnt want it, shoot me a quote on the hood shipped to 42301. Thanks.

Seems to be alot of clones these days. I like it.
-
Yes, they will work on a 5.3.

4) I hate my wheels
What kind of wheels do you have?
-
Thats pretty cool. I like stories like that.

How, or why was it hidden?

I saw the same 1. I may have to just get the aftermarket, and hide the switch. I dont care anything about reflashing the ecu. Plus Im gonna be putting HID's in.
