nice yeah i remember when he sold it. Did you get the billet wheels that he had on it?
No, there was some horrible 16 inch wheels on it. All black nascar look. Changed them out for replica 22s less than 1/2 hour after I got the truck home and off the trailer.

You bought Richard aka chubbz clone?
Yes last year in February or March
-
Yes RUFY3 is my Instagram. Rufy is a nick name taken from my first name, Rufino. Thanks! I follow the first owner of the clone and also a guy Rufy who had the truck recently! Is that you? Haha love the truck and yes that is my motivation truck!

That's about right. My SS is RWD and ran a 13.69 with just the basic boltons and 26" et streets.

I will be there since Monday and we head home Saturday morning. Me and my younger brother might make the 950 mile drive with our wifes in our corvettes. Depending on the weather

lol
What if you go with smaller stall? The color looked really nice when I seen it.
I am not sure where to go with it just yet..............

That's a really decent time for not runnin a converter. Cam and converter should do wonders for it. Is that red clone in your avatar yours? I remember seeing one on FB or IG not to long ago and someone mentioned that a guy from Washington bought it.
Yes it is mine. I've dumped alot into just getting it back up to par. I also put the 22" SS wheels. It was on 16" black steelies when I purchased it in CA. It is a full bolt on 4.8 with a circle d 3400 stall. Most gutless truck I've ever owned. If I dont find a 6.0 soon, the truck will be sold. My 02 that I sold last year would out run this thing on 7 cylinders.

Wow theres another rcsb in the Seattle area with 13,000 miles for less than 1/2 the money. Its an 07 classic 5.3 too

Cool ya was just wondering you had any new times. Any more plans to get to going faster? Were you running a converter with the13.6? And running the 26" with the stock 3.73's? Do you have any trouble hooking on the streets with the them?
I've put less than 30 miles since running the 13.6, it still has a stock tq converter. Yes the 26" et streets was on stock 3.73s, I've never ran them on the street though. For street duties I have nitto drags mounted on the factory 20s but I havent driven it at all with them either. I plan to work on it some more and get it into the 12s with a cam and tq coverter in the near future. I'm almost done messing around with a SS clone I've always wanted to build. The more I drive the clone, the more I hate it and wanna get back to driving the SS.

Off topic lol
Have you got any 1/4 times in your truck?
13.69 @ 100 mph is the quickest it's gone off the bottle. LT headers, CAI, asp pulley, magnaflow muffler, HPTuners, 26" et streets. 12.69 @ 107 with nitrous

This is bumper only correct? no ducts?

I agree with the comments above, last year I was offered $23,000 trade-in up here in WA for my 2005 and its 2wd. I was just curious but traded my 2009 cummins mega cab instead

275/40/20 is what I had

16k on mine. Bought it new June of 2005

I think that is a great time for the tires you're on. Keep at it and you'll get a 13 as it is!
-
The rear suspension is the same but from way back in the day when I lowered mine, I remember hearing the spindles are different 03-05 AWD to 05+ RWD. I have stock spindles for both an 04 AWD and my 05 RWD out in the garage somewhere. I'll see if I can measure them out and see for sure.

I have the 285/35/22 and the 285 is perfect on the 10" wheel.
-
I bought some et streets before I started modding the truck. Without traction, I didn't see a point in adding more power. I run almost a second quicker on 26x11.5x16 et streets than on my 22 SS reps

My flip kit kept the ride as close to stock as it gets. The leafs weren't unbearable when combined with airshocks and I liked that setup because pinion angle was spot on. I'll do either of those 2 setups before ever doing hangers again. (I've done 3-4 of my trucks with shackle/hangers)
Dropped the SS!
