I just had the 15840 Magnaflow catback (dual rear exit) installed on my truck. I really like the Magnaflow sound, and quotes I got for a custom mandrel bent stainless system were almost double what I paid for the kit. I like it, good tone, not too loud until you put your foot in it, slight drone at highway speeds but not too bad. I didn't like the look of the included Magnaflow tips, so I had some different tips put on (which means the Magnaflow tips are available, I suppose I'll post in the for sale section, and put them on ebay). For good measure, I also had the BSER rollpan notched so that the tips could be recessed a bit. All in all, very pleased with the look and sound.

Can you provide a pointer to the tuner you mention in the Dallas area? I'll be putting a CAI and catback on my truck this summer, and would like a street tune afterwards.

I plan to trade in my 2003 SS in a year or two, so I was at the State Fair of Texas yesterday checking out the new vehicles. I really want to like the new trucks, but no matter how hard I tried, I don't like them either. I was also looking at the new avalanches, and have to agree they are extremely sharp. I've had my sights set on the new Dodge Challenger (supposed to come out in 2008), but if I decide to be more practical, the Avalanche is at the top of my list.

Does this allow control of the iPod from the steering wheel? Also, does it show the iPod info on the radio display?

So how do we get this rolling? I never heard back from ImpoSSterSS, maybe BSER could run it? Any ideas?

I know that ImposterSS said the CAD stuff for his tips was lost, and it would be very expensive to reproduce, but it seems to me that there are enough of us with BSER rollpans that are interested that we could all chip in to get it done. ImposterSS, any guess on the cost to set this up again? Anyway your existing tips could help set up the process?
