I guess the point I am getting at is other forums stay true to what they are called. We have great danes and my ole ladie is a part of many great dane forums are there other dog owners on this forum..ofcourse BUT they have featured dogs of the week and they have to be a Dane to be considered not a lab with cropped ears being known as a imposter dane. My point is Great Dane forum has featured Great Danes a SilveradoSS forum should feature Silverado SS's.

Shackels for the rear and turn the bars down in the front ,you must cut the stops or you will have a rough ride .Its a quick and EASY process that gets great results ,a Big bang for the Buck Mod ..............as for the roll pan take the gate off n get some long screws space it back the distance of the studs and attach it to the bed and let it hang paralell to where it would be if it was bolted down flat aginst the bed ,mark the place to drill the holes where the studs touch....what are u wait 4

no recall yet. it is just the new way to go about fixing the shaft when you would bring it to the dealer. so if you want to get one best way is to take the truck in and tell them your shaft clunks.
Probaly under a campaign,silent recal

That noise drives me crazy. anyone know what exactly it is?
Im in for the letter too
2005 AWD SS 6.0 L
My understanding is that GM changed the design of the splines on the shaft to have fewer but wider splines. This condition allows the grease to work out of the splines. I also understand that GM has a fix coming out in FEB for this. I do not know if it will be warranty only repairs or if it will be available to all of us. Do a search using the word Steering in this forum and you will find a lot of good info.
Being just a regular kinda person that Aint got know Engineering degree or wokin up on the top floor of some Big three ,I would add a grease zert to the affected shaft, but hey what do i know?

anti sway bars = reduced body sway . it keeps you truck flat when you turn and your body sways. so it does help traction through a turn. i have the hotchkis bars and they are a very good mod. along with wider tires, beltech nitro shocks and a drop my truck handles like its on rails. id like to take it to a skid pad to see if can hit over 1g which i think wouldnt be a problem.
You must be a Bad Mo Fo to be able to "PUSH" your truck that fast
sorry for jumpin in on your question,I just couldnt resist ....Aft Mrkt Sways are a must do mod
