  1. this may be true, yet you can invert or hue the colors to be whatever you want. ES <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That you can, but it's still fake. The guy in the video is giving off white from the heat of his body.
  2. It's funny but fake. Infra red cameras see heat in white. Unless he's farting an icicle, it's not real.
  3. We've only had one light dusting of snow this year but last year I drove it in the snow.
  4. absolutely!!! just don't say you left it in the vehicle unattended. huge no no!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tell them you had it with you and didn't have time to take it home and you weren't gonna bring it into the strip club so you left it out there. No big deal then.
  5. Before you click, this website that is hosting the video has some advertisements on it that are NSFW. The video itself is SFW. http://www.drunkendelight.com/view.php?id=6158
  6. We just have entirely different senses of humor I guess
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCWM570ht14 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2ggZpz_XfY Those two are better XD
  8. wahhhhh, wahhhhh! are we becoming politically correct here now? must we be mindful of others feelings? I thought this was a forum for a bunch of guys (and a couple gals, sorry Kim) to hang out and be guys, which includes raggin on each other, some colorful language and a lot of shop talk. Are we gonna have to get Gloria Alread, Al Sharpton and Katie Couric to start monitoring us for content. I just can't believe that people are so uptight these days on a message board. OK, I'm done. Just my .02 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a huge difference between acting like a bunch of guys and playfully raggin' on someone as opposed to belittling and cursing at them. This isn't some hater forum where we come to trash talk each other like all the ricer forums. The community and respect people have for each other is what makes this SilveradoSS.com and not just the same old flame forum. If you don't agree, you should probably go somewhere else. Unless you're in Gasoline Alley the cursing is monitored. They're not Nazis about it but when it starts to get out of hand they'll edit posts. It's not that big of a deal to me. If you want to cuss, become a supporting member and hang out in Gasoline Alley.
  9. This is an interview done by streetfire.net with some guy who works for Vortech talking about a new supercharger and then talking about a C6 Z06 kit. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/c6+z06...88d00b96f13.htm
  10. That'd be a Cobalt SS. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You bastard. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, it's not mine. I just know that's what it is.
  11. I like the Fold-a-Cover. It is really easy to remove, but you don't have to for most things. Jeez Kim, you are just a baby. I was 13 when that truck was built Glad someone else here appreciates the "rounded line." Mike <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kim is older than me I was born in 84'.
  12. Radars can be mounted or handheld. I'm pretty sure lidars are only handheld though. Here's an article on lidars, http://www.officer.com/publication/article...ubId=1&id=33486
  13. A lidar isn't the same thing as a mounted radar. The only lidar I've ever seen is a handheld gun that has a sort of red dot type of display. You look through and there's a red box that serves as the targeting reticle and you hold that over the car, keep the trigger pulled and it displays a speed right below that. Lidars are supposed to be much more accurate than regular mounted radars. I dunno, I could be wrong since I'm a noob when it comes to this sort of stuff. Perhaps one of our site members who's an officer could chime in, Stitches?
  14. They used to be restricted under the 1994 AWB, but since the 1994 assault weapons ban sunset in 2004, they are legal to have ... stamped mags are now like any other hicap mag ... however on the mag capacity thing there are several states that have their own laws governing capacity ... and on the 10 rd P220ST statement above, I thought the P220 had a single stack mag in 7 or 8 round capacity depending on the mag manufacturer? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would also check out your states gun laws. Even thought the ban has been lifted, Mass. still enacts strict gun laws. Only persons with and LTC A may have High Capacity weapons. Everyone else must be 10 and Under or 5 and under long gun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, if that were the case in Iowa then you wouldn't think a gun dealer would sell them. I bought the USP from Scheel's it's a huge sporting goods store and I doubt they'd want to ruin any of their business by selling illegal magazines.
  15. It's awesome that the very last guy kinda rocks back from the kick but doesn't lose control of the gun or anything. Unlike the other 20-30 people who shoot it.
  16. I have a question if anyone knows. My USP has two 12 round mags that came with it but they have etched on them "RESTRICTED LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERNMENT USE ONLY". Is there some states that only allow lower capacity magazines?
  17. And sometimes that's all a person needs to know better, heh. That's probably all I'd do too, I could understand where he's coming from doing that and it wouldn't seem right to pull him over for something I'd probably do too.
  18. I'd do a rich woman to get her cash. I'm a gold digger. I'd screw Oprah if I thought I was gonna get to spend her money on things I want.
  19. If you want to see more turbos go to a ricer website. That's about all ricers ever use.
  20. I'm not saying they limit them in Iowa because of the sport factor. I'm saying that I don't think it's very sporty in my opinion. I know why the limit them in Iowa.
  21. I don't think rifle hunting deer is much of a sport. In Iowa, there's only bow and shotgun seasons. Hefty fines and harsh penalties come with being caught killing a deer with a rifle here. I just don't see how it's even remotely sporty to be able to kill a deer from that far away.
  22. All of the cops I've rode with during my internship have been fairly decent people. One in particular doesn't let anyone off for anything he's very by the book and doesn't use his discretion at all. Another officer I ride with uses his discretion to the extreme. He lets people off for everything (even with DUIs he'll make them call a cab and he'll stay there until he watches them leave in the cab). His philosophy when it comes to traffic enforcement is to get people to change their driving habits not screw them over. It sounds like this rookie has whatever reasons that he doesn't like you and you're going to have to figure out a way to get it to stop. Filing a complaint, breaking this stereotype he has about you, or any other number of things. It does seem like you're gonna have to get these things changed for the moment. Otherwise you're probably gonna keep getting nailed with tickets.
