dave your going to have a screamer,
did you drop the block on your toe taking it out of the truck? or did you just pick it up with one hand and sling it over your shoulder
-
The worst thing about all this is I never got to see what she would do when really pushed,
break-in tune and low boost was 805 ft torque to the ground, can you imagine what she would have done when we lit a fire under her ass, no pun intended
-
do you know if you are able to save anything from it? block or anything
bottom end should be good,
-
great Job Dave, don't forget to write down what block number it is. Kinda neat to know.

insurance company just found me a house to stay in until mine is fixed, 3000 sq ft
I won't want to move back into my 1900 sq ft house
they still have to furnish it for me, I will take a nice 50 in plasma please

may she rest in peace. Remember all GM's go to heaven . You will reunite with her again one day. I don't know if you were home or not but I bet if you were you would of probably saved the denali first or died trying. I know if it was my truck I would of and need to seek depression therapy. I may live in Minnesota but if there is anything I could do tell me.
I was home and fought harder to save the Denali than my house, jumped into it with the hole front end on fire getting it out of the garage, that is why the back half didn't get burned,
again thanks everyone,

Get those receipts together Mark!
that is going to take me forever, both for the truck and for the contents of the garage. not looking forward to that but it has to be done.

the speed sensors i have a wiring adaptor from here
http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4L80E.ht...0E%20to%204L80E
You have two Vehicle speed sensors, did you hook them both up to the tranny or one to the tranny and one to the transfer case?
-
how do you have your vehicle speed sensors hooked up?

I am looking for some good ceramic coated LT Headers for a friends 2004 Sierra Denali, in a couple of weeks we are putting a Radix, new heads and a cam 208º/214º .554"/.559" on a 114º on his truck. I have everything at my house except for the Headers, He live in Canada and doesn't have to worry about smog. they have 87, 89, 91, 93, 95 octane at the pump.
thanks for any help.

the stock drive lines are only balanced to 105 mph from the factory.
have have a steel 2-piece DS with heavy duty u-joints 4 in steel, cost 800.00 dollar
Mark
Edit, I will be putting hoops before I go above 15psi
I am at 12 psi and 805 ft lbs of torque to all wheels and it is holding up.

If you think you are gonna get that truck anywhere CLOSE to the 9 sec zone, I've got some great beachfront property in Arizona you might be interested in!
all it takes is money

All recent Sierra Denali's came with 4.10's but the Sierra C3 did not.
correct, technically the C3 is not a sierra denali
-
It'll run fine, the AWD GMC Sierra Denali's came with the same running gear as the SSS but with 3.73 gears.
Mr. P.
all the Sierra Denali's came with the 4.10's
-
it has been talked about a lot, until they come out with a stand alone controller it is pretty much not doable,

Because of the first gear it is a little slower off the line, the tranny is bigger and heavier,

Transfer Case Change?
in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
Posted
our TC is a little shorter or a little longer, can't remember which way, Rick @ synergy was going to take out his 4x4 transfer case and swap in our AWD unit, but he would have to change his drive lines so he didn't do it, I know our units are completely mechanical so the PCM or any other part of the truck doesn't even know its there, I don't know if it would be different with a 4x4 TC
