Ricks injector driver, if you take the cover off there are LED lights that light up when the injectors fire, kinda neat if you have a problem you can see if an injector is firing or not

  3. is that one pic touching the exhaust? I dont mind wraping but it seems like by touching you are creating a spot for the head to conduct (transfer by touching) instead of having a space between and the heat convecting to that hose?? Your stuff looks awsome just dont call it dont till ever possible thing is protected from the heat those turbos are going to put out.

A week out from running is it hard to sleep @ nite knowing it coming home ???:cheers:

    do you mean this one,

  5. HAHA.... after all that work and attention to detail i cant believe you are going to let those welds fly!!! Tsk tsk Tsk...

My new mantra when i see you is going to be... "How 'bout them welds???"

hey look, even superman had a weakness... ROLFMAO

leave it to me to point out a flaw in the mona lisa... DOH!

Rick builds engines better than he welds

  6. so you can run AWD with the 4L80E? i didnt know that.

yep, you just need to get a new input Gear in the Transfer case for the 4L80 160.00 dollars

Or you can get a different Transmission Shaft,

Chuck from FLT recommended to do the Input gear on the NVG 149 because it is stronger.

  7. There are many AWD dyno's in my area but none will fit my wheel base, So when you do call them for info make sure you know there max wheel base on their dyno.

I would hate for there to be a misunderstanding, and have a bunch of people drive there and than they figure out your trucks won't fit.

  8. hey man i got a question for you. i got a buddy who has simuilar HP goals for his SS and he is looking for a tranny, how would you reccomend finish line transmissions. i dont think the switch from a 4L65E to a 4L80E would be too difficult losing the AWD of course. any thoughts?

I can recommend FTL based on the customer service and track record, They built Parish's tranny and it has held up to hundreds of 1/4 mile passes.

shouldn't be to much longer for mine to fire up. Right now Rick is working on swapping out my AWD T-case for a Two wheel drive unit so he can get it on His dyno, the AWD T-case will be going back in after it is tuned.

  9. I might have missed this in either of the two posts, but what are you going to run for exhaust from the turbo back?

going into an X-pipe and than into two magnaflow muffles, I will se how it sounds and go from there, or are you asking how I am routing the down pipes?
