hey guys i thought i'd post this question and what you all recomend,I have an 86 chevy plow truck which is rotting due to our east coast weather,I bought an almost rust free cab(cab corners need a little work) that i plan to use.What rust proofing nethod would you all recomend,i just what to do this once.I was thinking por-15 or an eastwood rustproofer on the frame and cab inside and out,then maybe dynamat for noise,heat.any help is appreciated.

Man I am sorry to hear about your loss,please dont take this the wrong way but I think suicide is such a cop out and these people really dont consider their friends and loved ones to much and how their actions will forever affect their lives,I dont know why your friend decided to take his own life but nothing can be that bad that yuor friends and family wont understand or help out with.Once again i'm sorry for your loss but dont hate your friend for what he did he probably wasnt thinking with a clear head,i will say a prayer for you and tour friends family.

I saw a porche cayene stretch todaybut the body work was bad because you could major waves where they used sheet metal to fill in between the fender and quarter.

guys i'm thinking about 12 to 1500 for the job.I priced rotors for my 00 vw passat and list is about 200 dollars per rotor,the old man behind the parts counter likes me so I get stuff for list price(2 rotors and pads 260.00).With that being said I agree dealer prices are high but sometimes its noth worth going to joe mechanic down the street,by the way when my timing belt was done the nose of the car had to come off because vw does not give any working room to change the belt otherwise.

im more partial to the gmc,but chase is right what is chevy doing whith those huge bulges in the fenders?and the grill on the gmc i think will look better with an aftermarket grill.time will tell.

Thats a tough call ,on one hand they paid back those fn theives(way to go) and hopefully they will think twice next time they decide to steal a car.The flip side is they could have been killed or arrested if they were seen,I dont think either wuold have a good outcome.

I know the aftermarket should make a lot of components for those cars but like kaotik said the coil overs with a drop,strut bar and sway bar should make a difference.I think some places sell these as kits,If you want there is a guy in my home town who has a foriegn car race shop i could as for info.

I was messin online yesterday and saw a trailer for ghost rider with nick cage.motorcycles,flames and skulls should make for an o.k. movie,what do you guys think?

Note to occ,its a truck not a bike!.grill sucks,single side pipes i would take,forget those wheels,tires could stay,86 the ass end.the had a 03 occ crew cab for sale at a local dealership they were asking about 32k for it .to much for an ugly truck.
