I'd love to join in,I went to corvettes at carlisle in the early 90"s and it was awsome,i'd love to go to this event.

A while back someone posted a transforming truck vid well today on yahoo movies i saw the trailer for the new transformers movie coming out 7-7-07.From what i saw it looks pretty good but there were no transforming being done in the trailer just thought some of might be interested.sorry just noticed i posted in the wrong place.

Not to rain on your parade but I would not advise an ss for a first car(unless you guys are rich),here is my reasoning 1.I feel it takes a few years experiance to properly learn how to drive a car,watch out for the crazies driving around and handle the horsepower a ss can make,granted its no corvette but some times it makes you act like a leadfoot and if your not careful it will get you in trouble. 2.At almost 3.00 a gallon for fuel you will be visiting the fuel pumps alot,especially with a leadfoot,so if you have a job a good portion of your paycheck will go for fuel. 3.your insurance will be sky high(assuming your 16yrs old). 4.I sure would hate to see a beautiful ss go to its grave early do to an inecperianced driver,it is a lot of truck and can catch you off gaurd. 5.Good luck either way.

well turned on the tube yesterday morning and saw howie long doing a new info mercial for the new silverado,they basically talked about the pos,neg of the truck.not bad info,but same b.s.

that statement is so true,I was working at a local college on dec.7.when a teacher out of the blue asked me if i knew what that day was so i replied who doesent its pearl harbor day,every american knows that,to which she replied i asked my students the same question and almost no one knew,to which i replied that is a down right shame how the hell do they get this far(college) and not know what dec.7. is?to me thats the same a pissing on the graves of all those who paid the ultimate price to make this a better place for them to live.in my opinion knowing is a way of paying tribute to those brave enlisted men and women. :banghead:by the way i was born in 1971,30 years after the fact.

I'm not sure of the diesel rears but you can go to the diesel place .com they are a nice bunch of guys and can probably answer your diesel/rear questions better.good luck

they were in norwalk ,ct last summer with their huge ggw park in front of the row of bars i n my town.I wont how the taping takes place,in the bus or at a hotel.

man that truly sucks because i'm like that guy i dont drink that much anymore but i remember driving home some nights feeling no pain,thankfully those days are gone because i drive for a living and CANT loose my license because that means no job.

sorry to hear of your troubles,if it were me i would definately try and work things out,16 years is a long time to trash on something stupid.I would agree with the members your friend might have some kind of mental/emotional problems,if he is your friend and aware of his situation he should tell you as his best friend.personally if i lend money to a friend i would expect payment back unless otherwise specified and if it were me doing the borrowing i to would payback with interest,with all that said try and talk it over and salvage your friendship but i dont think it will be th same.good luck.

Guys was it me or do those shocks seem a bit pricey,it looked like 749.00 for the set and i would think maybe around 400.00 for the set,call me crazy.
