I have a buddy with an 04 GTO, we got her up to 160(ish) one night, it took a while after we hit 140(ish) to get it up to 160(ish)...GTO is built for speed, and is certainly more arrow-dynamic (sp) than our "flying bricks" so I gotta agree with these guys and call on this one...

I got to look at one at the local airstrip one day... It was in that dark met. blue... It had the "base" package as Dylan listed above.... I got to talk to the owner a little... He was in a wheel chair so the car was an A/T and he had it set up so he could drive it, but he was definantly a cool character. IMO i think its a sick looking car but doesn't look as good as the 03(ish) saleens....

hey, did you have your front torsions turned up? the front looks like it sets a bit higher than a stock 4x4... maybe i'm just crazy

I mixed a little wax in my soap yesterday when i washed my truck and i didnt really see a difference in normal soap and soap with wax... CONCLUSION: As far as I'm concerned its just a waste of wax... so i'm gonna throw the flag

that looks real nice! you just need to do something with those license plate holes now...I filled mine with a 2 stage poly "bumper filler" and then touched them up with some touch up paint. After I built up the touch up paint i wet sanded it down and you can hardly notice...

I use 87 octane because I really didn't see any difference between 91 and 87... I will run 91 from now on, but there was no point for spending the x-tra money for gas when my mileage was the same either way... I assume that with the tune, it will make a difference, but at our elevation its hard to tell....

OK, I got it all done... and I am very pleased The shift points have been moved up to 6,000(ish) and it seems to run a little better, but i'm thinkin i need to put some premium in it.... which sucks b/c I just filled it up on tuesday with 87 octane... so i was thinkin about running to wal mart and picking up some octane booster....and seeing if that helps a little...
