ok, what's your guy's opinions on aluminum or iron water pumps?

Ok so i have a 1969 el Camino 396 SS... it has a built 396, bored sixty over, 9.5:1 compression, stout cam, rebuilt heads, intake, hedders, the list goes on... I was debating e-fans for it with an electric water pump... I have an aluminum radiator for it too... my question is, for those who know, what are the pro's and con's of having a combo like that over a pulley pump and fan, other than HP gains... Its not a race car, just an old cruiser with some BB power and a Muncie 4 speed So if you guys could give me your $0.02 on this i would appreciate it alot! Thanks in advance!

could it be those 22's swingin' around? That sounds like a genuine problem.... I dont worry about fuel economy... if it stays around 13, I'm happy... if it drops below that, there's probably something going on... it usually has something to do with my right foot!

Just took my truck to the dealership today for the last of my waranty work, the front end still howls after i had diff. gone through 5k ago... they took a look at it for a couple of hours and called me... "The GM guys want us to replace your entire** front diff. and the entire** transfer case." I told them to make it happen, so they ordered parts and I get to take it back in on Friday morning. Its a bummer that I don't get the truck for the weekend but I think they're gonna get me a loaner... so I can't complain Just thought I would share...

Well, I guess to start out, on Friday, my sister doored my truck on the passenger side, left a scratch and a golf ball sized dent in my door Then on Sunday, I wrecked my dirt-bike pretty bad, and caused an easy $250+ in damage Not to mention I'm sore as hell Then to top it all off, I ran my girl off today... I said something that I shouldn't have said but it was completely out of character for me... I tried to apologize several times but it doesn't seem to make a difference... but the thing is I've let her get away with some stuff that was totally agianst my grain... but she's got every right to be mad... (yeah its that bad- my mouth overloaded my ass) Does anyone know a good way to kiss some ass...(something original) I really need to try and make this work... I need Ideas fast... She's leaving for Cali on Wednesday morning for 4 weeks... Please help if you can Thanks -Cody
