The harness should have came with the truck if not you might have to get it from a dealer. Then you hook up the controller to the harness.

When I needed one I was told the aftermarket ones you have to cut the stock bumper, so I bought the factory one.

Keep the truck so you can tow the F-body to the track.

They come with several different motors. My dad has a 4cyl. one and it is quik but there are 2 bigger motors in that year and maybe more in the newer ones.

You have to scuff the paint before it gets sprayed on so even if you get it off top of bed would look worse.

Besides the parking brake the drums are supposed to stop better too. I have disks and they stop for crap.
