In some states careless driving can be considered a misdemenor and requires a court appearance. If that is the case for your state, look at who the prosecuting attorney is going to be. Give them a call and explain the situation. More than likely the prosecutor will know how big of a jerk these guys are and drop the violation down to a basic rule violation, which you should just be able to pay a fine and be on your way. Does the ticket say that he has you on Radar or Laser? You should be able to check public records in a few days to find out for sure. You can also check to make sure he is up to date on all his radar/laser training. If he isn't then you can get out of the ticket that way. If that doesn't work, then try to reschedule your court date to the officer's day off. I also believe that this is public record. This way the officer will more than likely not show for the hearing and you will get out of the ticket.

I have some of the cooper Dicsoverer HT+ on my SS. The Discoverer HT + are great, but if I had the choice to make over again I would go with the Zeon's.

Well, I towed the boat more than a couple blocks this past weekend. I probably only pulled it about 60 miles, but after you mentioned my ride being "bouncy" I couldn't stop noticing how bad it actually is. I'll definatley be adjusting the receiver hitch. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. I'll check out AZ speed. I doubt getting my boat engine tuned would be worth the time and money, but it might be worth it to check into it.

My boat has an Indmar 5.7L (325 Hp) engine, which is based on the GM 5.7L/350ci engine. Does anybody know if it would be possible to tune my boat engine for better fuel consumption? 7 gallons per hour just isn't very fun on my wallet.

Well, I've been meening to flip my 2" drop hitch over but I've been lazy. It does bounce a little bit, but it's not that bad (I'm sure it'd be much better leveled out). Most of the time i pull the boat a grand total of 2 blocks, but one of these days I'll pull my head out and get a new hitch or flip the current one over.

Disclaimer: "I'm not an expert at this", but I don't think it will mess anything up. I've left my boat hooked up to my truck for several days in a row and I haven't had any problems, but I haven't carried 1800 lbs in the bed. The tongue weight of my boat is probably around 500lbs. I've also had about 500 - 700 lbs of crap in the back of my truck while pulling my boat, and I did leave it over night. Not sure if this info helped you out or not.

Hey, looks good. One question, what is on the other side of where your amp is mounted? If nothing, you could possibly drill some holes where you have the amp mounted and run the wires through the board so that you don't see them. Just a suggestion, don'tknow if it's possible or not.

I've have one, and haven't really had any issues/complaints other than the phone is a little slow (accessing phone #'s and such). A buddy of mine has the Samsung version of the razr, and it is much faster.
