  1. Just go to the web site, truckinweb.com and look under havoc east coast it will give you the info you need
  2. Should be able to make it again, just up to the dates. You may want to consider not making it the weekend of August 11 & 12 as that is the weekend that Truckin magazine is sponsoring a large truck show at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Ky. Waiting for more info when it becomes availible. Pufferss
  3. Guess this means we won't be seeing you in Bowling Green this fall. Unless you want to bring it along and see what it can do. Good luck with the new truck, and like everyone else is saying, you don't have to give up on the SS site. Ron
  4. Did Mark Martin, not retire again last year?
  5. Hey. Go to discounttiredirect.com and take a look at the Nitto 420s 295/50/20 REDLINE Pufferss
  6. the tire you have on the truck now is 31.9" od, the 285/50/20 is 31.2" od so you are decreasing the outside diameter somewhat
  7. Well with the stock wheel on the 03 SS being a 20x8.5, the largest tire you can put on that size rim and still get good surface contact with the tire, would be a 285/50/20. You could go with a wider tire, but that would crown the tire causing the center of the tire to wear faster. Pufferss
  8. I talked to the tech department at gibson today and this is a new muffler introduced about two months ago. it's on their web page at gibson performance . com Thanks for the reply.
  9. Just saw these in a trade magazine, it has the x pipe inside the muffler just like the Magnaflow. If anyone on the site has them on their truck or has knowledge of someone that may, i have a few questions that need answering Thanks Pufferss
  10. But.. you guys are contesting what belanger advertises. You have to understand something outside the forum there is a whole world of people who know nothing about PCM tuning whatsoever. There are still people out there that don't know that you can tune a computer to help the trucks with performance. I can't even tell you begin to tell you how many people I have crossed paths with that have no clue. Alot of companies choose the way they advertise wisely. Think about this for a second.. some guy who knows nothing about tuning wants a set of long tubes for the power and sound. Well.... pacesetter sounds great what if you buy a set of headers and throw em on and bingo reduced power mode and cat eff codes. WTF did I do? well.. if you buy a set of Belangers.. and do not tune your truck you will still be able to run your truck without the fear of reduced power or eff. codes. That is the selling point. Tuning is necessary to someone who knows what it is. John q. hotrodder might not have a clue what PCM tuning is. And there is still a very large majority of people out there who fear pcm tuning. There is a whole thread on headers I am hoping the mods actually take this information over there.. it almost appears to me that this gp may be dead, haven't heard any chatter or replies to my pm's i have sent. just one question, i have seen these headers referred to as belanger, bellanger and ballenger anyone know what is correct?
  11. Looking to buy some Random Technology catalytic convertors, was wondering if anyone on the site has seen them for less then $235.00 ? This will be for my 2003 ss Thanks Pufferss
  12. send me a pm to get on your list for the gp, also i believe these are 1 3/4 primaries, but what size are the collectors, looks like your website may be down, not sure on how to get in contact. thanks, Pufferss
  13. yes i would be interested in a good deal on the belanger headers, they are currently listed on Premier Truck Accessories site for 1195.00. what do you think you would be able to do on a group purchase? Thanks, Pufferss
  14. I bought mine at Stylinconcepts.com they make them in the color that you want. pufferss
  15. thought i'd throw in my two cents worth, bought my 2.2 kb back in 03 shortly after buying my truck and have been pleased with the performance, but their help with questions and so forth is plain pitiful. after frequent calls, when you can get anything but a busy signal all they would say is that they were close to getting the intercooler ready for production. then two years later when they finally announce the intercooler, it is an entirely different top mount sc and will not work with the side mount sc at all. so their only comment was sell mine and buy their new unit, NO THANKS. Pufferss
  16. you may have already ordered these lines , but if you have not just make sure that the apllication they are selling is for the SS When i bought mine well over a year ago the lines for the rear of the SS were not availible. I had them made at a place called Classic Tube in New York

  19. had a similar problem with my idle, cured it with a valvoline product called performance system cleaner it comes in a kit with three separate cleaners, throttle body cleaner, fuel injection cleaner for the tank and intake cleaner that you let drip through a vacuum line with the engine running. just a suggestion
  20. can someone tell me what TEA stands for when it comes to cylinder heads? i'am assuming it is the manufacturer and if so if you know if they have a website or who sells them thanks pufferss
  21. this is pufferss i feel that i would be interested but as you well know the weather down here is about to turn on to the colder side soon. are you thinking perhaps in the spring time? count me in Ron
  22. thanks for the info on calichevyv8 having a system for sale, but it is a side exit and i'am looking for the dual back system that will exit out the rear
  23. going to replace the magnaflow with a b&b dual back system, have seen it for $756.97 with free shipping. anyone know of a better deal out there any help would be appreciated.
  24. well chase04 was close, they are asanti AF118b 22x9 frt. 22x10 rear fronts have a 3" lip rears a 5" lip frt tires 285/45/22 nitto 404 rear 325/40/22 nitto 404 thanks for asking <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So please explain how you are running 2 different size tires with AWD..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well as 04chase has said the specs on the tires are as follows overall dia. f. 32.10/ r32.24, circumference f. 100.84/ r. 101.27, revs per mile f.647.98/ r.645.16, and at 65mph f. 64.72mph/ r.65mph now with specs being this close i have no problem with the staggered tire sizes darn, if your tires you have on your truck now don't wear evenly front and rear you could up with worse numbers then these. knock on wood no problems yet and the rear tires really look fat from the rear of the truck
  25. the finish on the back side is a smooth raw fiberglass not gel coat mine on my truck is finished in a blackout coat similar to undercoating
