  1. Quick question did you take the negative to your battery off before you started to work on anything?
  2. I saw you did a bit of weight savings.... to shed some more free weight. I would drain your windshield washer fluid reservoir and get rid of your tow hooks in the front bumper which are utterly useless.

  4. Any more info on the new belltech "street" Im always loookin for a better ride
  5. Thinking about it more its entirely possible, a lot of guys put the suburban second row captains chairs in the back of a crew cab. Only issue would be space....since they are buckets that would be a bit angled....however I think if you use less padding...some memory foam or something for support. The real challenge is to get matching buckets stlye for the front....
  6. We would need hangers also no? Usually on ebay I just see the calipers. Hawk pads are significantly cheaper at about 150 for all 4.
  7. Yeah its totally possible. You would have to get a backseat, cut it weld it etc. to make a new frame. I guess you new brackets...but it can be done.
  8. CAI I have an outlaw, Volant is good and so is AEM. Exhaust A lot of people like Corsa and magnaflow. Some put flows, cutouts etc. Tune The tune is the most important, and biggest bang for the buck. Wheatley, zippy, and a few others are around here just search. However, you can always buy tuning software and get a mail order as well. Its all by e-mail and its much less downtime. Plus you get the added benefit to learn yourself. --- Do I mess with TBS or Mass air flow right now or not? NO Tranny must need shift kit. Again, you do not NEED a shift kit but it would be beneficial. With a tune the shifts can become a bit more agressive(to your order, can be changed). Anyone run the dynatech header/cat combo? With what exhaust? Yeah a lot of people run that here, as well as OBX (old stly dyna) pacesetter, ASM and for the $$$$ Belanger. To be honest in my opinion the stock SSS exhaust is fine and plenty big. I have a Corsa and got it because the truck was just to quiet. Welcome to the forum, there is a ton of info to be had. Especially with big power. A quick note on tunes and warrenty, recently GM made a tool that reads if the PCM has been screwed around with. You could always get a core PCM for your truck and send that one in while keeping your stock pcm handy if you ever need to do any work
  9. You could get better then that....but dpeends on your area
  10. Yes....but there wil be probably be an issue. Backorder. This guy does it by himself, AND the rotors are sold individually and not as a kit.
  11. That would be one of the greatest side benefits.
  12. John I am pretty sure if a few more of "you people" ( the tech guys) give the ok on the design and in practice application of this.....people will frekin jump on this. (me included )
  13. I have been following it on GMFS. It is a great and MUCH cheaper alternative to bears. However I am sitting on the fence and will be for a while until I see a few more install's and the longevity is tested. From what I remember the brackets are under $200 for all 4. Whats pricey is the actual calipers.
  14. Yeah like fast cars and women. Oh....and making fun of people of lesser capacity
  15. You should def see a space shuttle launch in person. Its like the damn earth is falling apart when it takes off.
  16. Your about 5 years too late....but you can always try and see whats up. Take the sales associate class for your respective state. Its not too hard and the money can be made if you know the right people and do the right work.

    Fuel Filter

I will save you the time of going under your truck Most newer SSS's (after 03) have a fuel filter inside the gas tank. That does not mean that you shouldnt replace it
  20. weak sauce, IMO it wouldnt be so bad if it was under the supporting vendors but damn all the way at the bottom of the page. I thought it was supposed to be prestigious to win the Featured truck....
  21. " You have been banned for the following reason: Stay off this fvcking site, go back to sss.com"
