    New House...

Ha! I didn't even notice that. I will now though......everytime I look at the ceiling
  2. Hey there guys! Just thought I'd share some progress pics of the new house. I'm hoping to close on it around December 22nd. Can't hardly wait to get moved in....so we can have a fresh start. The day they officially started.
  3. Sent a PM a couple days ago........
  4. Post some pics, if you don't care. I work with 4 volunteer firefighters and they're always looking for stuff. Might be even better if you could text me some pics. PM if that would be okay and I'll send you my number.
  5. Depending on the shipping cost, I may buy those rims off ya. So don't forget to pm me with a price tomorrow. I need some winter wheels.

    Hey Guys

I know I don't post hardly any anymore....but I still lurk everyday Just thought I'd check in and share some good news. My truck is officially paid off as of today....yay!!! Feels good for it to be MINE! More good news. I got approved for a loan for a house!! I'll try to post pics of progress. They were supposed to start framing it today.....but it's raining, of course. I'm kinda excited. Kinda dreading leaving the house we're in now. We've lived here for 15 years. Already sold alot of our stuff cause we're downsizing in square feet. It'll be good for mom to get a new start even though I know it's going to be hard for her to leave the memories of dad. Not much new with the truck. It got some smoked tail lights and third brake lights, some clear headlights, a black bowtie, drilled and slotted rotors, and some maintenence stuff. Still needs a front bumper and paint. Needs a power steering pump soon too, cause the one I have is starting to whine. I'll post pics of it eventually. It really needs a bath.
  7. Contact Gaylord directly. When I thought I was going to be able to buy one a couple of months ago....they gave me a price almost $500 cheaper than stylintrucks. That was painted and shipped, with the wing.
  8. Also have a couple things SS related. Stock dash bezel, driver and passenger window switches, and the overhead console.
  9. Antique cabinet/desk thing. 4 piece sectional sofa. Both ends recline. Recliner that matches the sofa. Entry hall mirror. Hand-made leather horse. Could ship this. Palm Centro. Lots of games and make your own ringtone software is on it. Could also ship this.
  10. Me and mom need to sell abunch of furniture. Hopefully we'll be moving to a new house in a few months, and we won't have enough room for it all...and we need the money. I know most of you all live way too far away for this stuff. But I figured maybe there might be a few that were close by that might see something they like. We've got a huge Broyhill entertainment center. Also have a sofa back table and end table that match it. The two tables need a little TLC on the legs. A Singer sewing machine that's built it's own table/desk. Two (2) antique chairs that have little caster wheels on the front legs. Kinda cool. A huge framed mirror. Patio table and 6 chairs. Microwave stand. Chest of drawers.
  11. TTT Also have the stock dash bezel...both window switches and overhead console if anyone is interested.
  12. No one needs a set? Willing to take offers....need the money for the new house.
  13. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow morning before I go to work.
  14. Pair of stock tail lights for sale. Was going to keep them for an extra set, but decided not to. Looking to get $100 shipped.
  15. Thanks for the support guys. Mom and I went back to work today. Kevin goes back tomorrow. It's going to be rough for awhile...we have to sell the house. I don't know if any of you are familiar with Frontier Housing, but they said I should be approved for a new home. So, in a few months, I may be a first time home buyer. Kinda excited about that...but trying not to get my hopes up. And the poor truck will never get done. I'm getting some brake pads and rotors for it and some other maintenance things for it, like plugs and wires. Then it will be on hold for a long while. And Kevin...who just got home in March from deployment...signed up for a volunteer-year long deployment to Afghanistan. They're hand picking who goes, because there is only about 40 slots and 150+ people signed up. I know he feels like he needs to go...but I hope he doesn't get picked.
  16. I know I'm not on here much anymore, but I still felt like I needed to tell you guys. Plus...I haven't really talked about it, so it might help me a little. Dad died unexpectedly in his sleep last Sunday morning...July 4th. We had no warning. He played 18 holes of golf with mom on Friday, and went out to eat. On Saturday he and mom went swimming, he cleaned the pool, and he walked with mom while she watered her plants. He came out of his room around 11pm Saturday night to get something to eat and a pop. Me and mom were watching a movie. I got up Sunday and went to work. Got a call around 10:30am from my brother telling me to come home....about the same time, my friend Eric(who's a volunteer firefighter), came around the corner and told me they just toned out an ambulance to my address.....60 some year old male, unresponsive, cold to the touch. Mom found him....she was doing her morning routine and noticed he hadn't changed positions during the night. I'm glad Kevin was home...wish I had been. When I got home he was still laying the way mom found him. He was relaxed...so I don't think he felt any pain. He just went to sleep and didn't wake up. When the coroner got the paper work done with mom, he went in the bedroom and took dad's sleep apnea machine off him, and rolled him over to let us see him one more time. Blood had pooled on the side he was laying on and Kevin said rigamortis had set in. I didn't realize how long the coroners process is. It took a hour or so before they took Dad out. A few neighbors were there and a ton of EMTs. Dad was the director of the ambulance service here for about 10 years. The ambulance service did a big procession to the cemetery for him...I think Kevin said it had 13 firetrucks and ambulances. And me, Mom and Kevin rode in the back of the first ambulance Dad ever bought for the county when he took over the ambulance service. He was cremated, and mom carried the urn. They had put a bunch of black ribbons on the ambulance and blacked out the light bar. All the ambulances already have decals on them saying "In memory of Don Adams 1947-2010". I don't think Dad knew how many people respected him. They even pulled out their old uniforms that Dad made them wear years ago for the funeral. People that he fired showed up in uniform. Anyhow....I'll stop. Like I said, I felt like I needed to tell you guys. If anyone is interested in watching the slide show they played at the service, you can watch it here....video. Sorry for the long post....
  17. Thanks Hank! I just got part numbers from your garage for Energy Suspension sway bar bushings and end links
  18. Hey guys. I'm going to be doing a lot of maintenance stuff to my truck next month. Rear shocks are on the list. I'm getting different part numbers from different sites. Was hoping someone here knew the part number. Thanks
  19. I've got a Kodak p880 camera that I hardly ever use, so I figure I'll try to sell it. Comes with carrying bag, battery, charger, usb cable, tv cable, and manual. Looking to get $200 plus shipping. I bought it new a few years ago for $650. It's a really good camera, just don't ever use it.
