I am about to but a set of obx headers and was woundering what kind of power gains i should get from them.

yes you can do it yourself. it is only 3 wires just make sure the breaker is turned off, go to www.grainger.com and look for the motor that is the same or very close to yours and the same rotation. you will save alot of money doing it youself!

it could be to things. 1) the fan motor is out most ac guys will tell you it is around $300-$500 to fix but you can pull the motor and replace it with a motor from Granger not sure of the web site but do a search and should be able to find one for around $80-$120 but you need to get the info off the old motor the rpm, hp, amps and if it is clockwise or counter clock and but the motor that matches up. 2) or it could be the run capacitor it is a it is silver a looks like a coke can, it it looks like a can that is about to bust than that is what it is. it will say something on the side like 35/5 uf 370/440v it might not say that same thing but it will be close. these are very cheap only like $5-$15 but they will mostly mark it up to $80-$100 plus the service call fee. Wish you were in tx and i would do the work for some money off the rims. hope this helps, let me know if i can help out in any way.

I have a stock 03 sss, I droped it 2/3 with 2 40 chamber flow master domped. So I want to take my truck to Neslon Per, in San Ant texas to have Alan do the pcm tune. I have heard nothing but good things about his tune, but I would like to know how much power i should gain.

Yes you can get it back, i have the Mcgaughy + 1 key and Belltech drop shackles and the shop i went to was able to get it in the green! the truck drives sweet! good luck

I had the hankooks for the last two years and i loved them, but i just got a set of 285/55/20 BFG G-Force and the bfg hook up and handle a 100% better then the hankook but the hankooks are cheaper than the g-force and will last alot longer. still the g-force handle and look like no other tire out there.

I vote yes!! I have 59k on my 03 sss stock, I have not had it worked on yet but I am sure I will have to soon the clunk is getting worse each day. let me know what other info you need and when and I will send it to you.

Need help, my 03 sss has a buring smell of some kind after I drive it for about 20min. I have not leaks, I know it is not oil burnig cause i know what that smell like. so i got no clue what it could be all my gages are reading ok. so if anyone has had this same kind of thing please let me know.

I was at a light last night when a white GT stang pulled aside me, I had my window down and he said chevys suck and I need to buy a ford. I could tell he had a 5 speed I did not answer him but when the light hit green it was off, he did not even get beside me at all i let off around 105mph and he was at least 2 or 3 car behind me. I know that they are not that fast but it was sweet seeing the look on his face at the next light as he rolled his window up and did not say a thing!!

before my ss i had a 04 ram 2500 quad cab 4x4 with the 5.7liter with 4in lift with 35in BFG, it has to be the biggest pice of S@#t I have had. before that I had a 02 chevy silverad 4.7 liter that I loved I dont know why I traded it in for the ram!!

yea i saw them I was at the Indy 500 this weekend, there where only two of them the rest where new red silverados. and yes the grills did not have the chevy bowtie on them but they did have the full ss body kit they also at after market heads and pipes they sounded sweet. I talked to a race offical and he said the two sss would go over 125mph on the track because they were the fist ones on the scene when a yellow came out. I have some pictures of them that I will post as soon as I get them uploaded.

Thanks i will try this if it happens agaig, and to the ones that said the shop could have not rounded off my lugs , well I finally got them to replace the lugs and they also had to replace all my studs on the rear of both wheels cause the new lugs would not thread on right.
