Went out to my truck today at lunch and as i got closer i seen a haze all over it...a 12 story condo is going up right next to the lot i park in and the construction company is pumping concrete to the 7th floor.... i was told an "air bubble" in the line caused it to "burb" aliittle concrete that shot over the form and into a parking lot...well that burp rained on 25 vehicles...the concrete was dry when i got there...made a claim with my insurance carrier....took it to my dealer the body shop manager said it might need to be painted....the hood,both fenders,both doors,both sides of the bed,the roof,grill....the only part that didnt get it was the tailgate!!WTF!! He'll write it up for paint but the insurance carrier might want to detail it.They claybarred a part of the hood but there are chips where the concrete came off....I could throw up!! here's the picts...the last pict is the clay bar part...wow what a difference

is it for sale? ive been tossed on which cowl to get....but i have been leaning towards reflexxions....and my ss is black....lemme know robert

A local shop (United auto) gave me a price of $30.00 to supply and install a 160 t stat!!! also on a side note i asked for header install only(told them i'll supply the headers) for $200.00!! a deal or what?

you know my truck hasn't felt the same since i did the 30000 mile tune from the dealer....ya think they change something? i bought it used...never knew what was done to her other than cai and exhaust...did 120 no prob...could beat a hemi but since the tune....its not the same...i think i need pcm4less Robert

I did the same thing only with our 94 suburban...tranny was slipping...which was #3 since we owned it...i refused to pay another $2200 for another rebuild...went to a chevy dealer to get an opinion on the tranny....while in the lot with the wife i spotted the sss but knew she wouldnt go for it...right next to it was an avalanche but it had cloth interior....the mrs said that black truck there is hot...you should go for that one..reverse psychology i guess....the next day i brought it home!!! i love it!! what a ride....good luck with your sss

I bought my SSS about 3 months ago and so far i figured out that it has the ARE cai, flowmaster from cat back.... it runs like a beast is there any way i can find out if there has been any pcm mods and such?Thanks

Hi everyone, New to the site..alittle over 3 months into my '03 SSS... bought it used with 24K miles...dont really know what has been done to it other than really nice sounding exhaust,and the CAI...wish i could tell whats been done so I dont do it over again...my bro-in-law has a '06 hemi charger that likes to be 3 cars behind me... .I'll say this it turns heads wherever i go...So any help would be greatly appreicated...Thanks ssrearsideveiw.bmp
