  6. 13-14K, i would offer 12,500. just my opinion. it is a buyers market (i've always wanted to say that)
  7. its almost always an open in the printed circuit on the back side of the mirror glass. mine does not work either,it makes pulling into the garage when its frozen over really interesting.the glasses are not cheap, about 360 from gm

  9. I HAVE A NIB mirror glass that has heated t/s option for drivers' side for 150.00-genuine gm. dealer cost is like 365.00
  10. I have one that I have been saving in my tool box in case mine ever got broken, but am willing to part with it. The "ridiculous dealer cost" is $364.13. This one is brand new in GM box with heated turn signal options. I am willing to part with it for $150.00. Lemme know if this helps.
  11. i believe the green stuff is what makes the mirror dim when the photocell on the inside rearview mirror senses darkness
  12. One of my customers here at work is down on his luck and in the spirit of christmas, I am going to try to help him out . He has a 00 ford Lightning with 83k that is pretty well modded. It doesnt need much work to be in driving condition, looks like a couple of wheel bearings and possibly a spindle. Book on it is over 10k in fair condition, and when i offered him 5k he bit. Question is, what should I do? Should i fix it and turn it? (After all, it is a ford...) Or should I keep it as a toy. Last time he had it at the track it ran 13.0....what to do...
  13. THE BODY CONTROL MODULE is located behind the drivers side knee bolster, underneath the steering column. it has a little lock tab and it just slides right out.
  14. it is probably misinstalled on the passenger side. those covers have brackets that slide under tangs at the windshield every so often, if you dont get them slid under it feels spongy.its very easy to do.
  15. im not sold on the look. i think i would have to see it in person.
