I just drove from Savannah, Ga. back to Maryland and averaged 16.5 MPG's. Average speed was porbably about 70-75 i guess.....but yah back around town it does drop to about 14.5-15.5

I have the General Grabber UHP's and they are not to bad with Launching. They are definately better then the Goodyears. The truck will light them up if you havent drove a few miles on them to warm them up. They look damn good to in my opinion.

I have an 06' V-Max as well...but 2wd with the 20's. I am glad to see you running 14.8 or so i was guessing i would run mid to low 14's. I am with everyone else with the custom tune. I got zippy's mail order tune. Also i have the corsa sport cat-back so of course i am going to recommend that. Sounds good while cruising and anything over 3000 RPM sounds damn good.

I was wondering if anyone has ordered one of the Camaros yet since you could order them as of October 13. If so what kind of prices did you get? The more and more i see the car the more and more i want it. But that would mean the Vortec Max going bye bye. I think it would be a good trade for the 6 speed SS starting at 30k.

I would hate to have to lock him up for driving on suspended license.....or I could just issue him a citation....lol...but since he has one FTA I guess jail it is...

Not a Marine but a former 10th Mountain Light Infantryman...i am sure you will be fine...i have been through plenty of obstacle courses...this one looks like alot of fun....

Same here in Md we are certified through the acadam to pace..as long as you patrol car has been calibrated and you have the card to prove it. Our in-car cameras also show the speed of the vehicle as well. But if he put the wrong info on the citation you might be able to get off of it...who knows

Good Kill ...when i first saw the thread i was thinking it was gonna be a trick or some bs..but when i saw your mods i was like damnn. Me with my cai, exhaust and pcm would attempt to kill one but wouldnt mind getting my ass handed to me either by one since they are fast little imports.

When i open a forum to read it all i can do is read one post at a time. I have all the other posts for that forum in a list at the bottom of the page. Is there anyway to get back the old way so i can read all posts at once?

I was wondering does anyone have a video of there exhaust cutouts on a corsa sport exhaust? I was looking at QTP Electric Cutouts and it was talking about decent horsepower gains. But then when i read on here about them, people were saying keep them closed when running at the track. Any opinions on which ones to get? Thanks

Never ran at the track for times...only things done are custom tune, cai and corsa exhaust. I am 2wd as well so the 3.73's may of helped a tad in the top end.

Yah it was definately fun...i dont mind at all wasting gas on a decent race. I actually had to leave some rubber down today as well when leaving the neighborhood. That was fun as well.

Well today while coming onto a good straight strip of road i saw a black Dodge Magnum R/T. So we went past one light that didnt change for us and with another coming up i prayed for a split second for it to turn red. Sure enough it changed red for me. Right before it turned green i looked to my right and saw him eyeing my truck and figured it might be on. When the light turned i took off modestly until i saw him pulling a little. So of course i pushed it to the floor which lucky for me it did not shift into 2nd yet and from then on it was game time. We ran up to about 85-90 and all in know is he had to have a good sound of the truck since his door was right at the corsa sport exhaust area. I let off at 90 and he was at my rear bumper and still falling back slowly. All in all it was a good race. He gave no look at the end of course and we went our seperate ways. Sorry about the long post, it just has been a while for a race.

30% here...i saw it when it was calculating and going to 100 i was like wtf...haha

Thanks for the picture...that helps alot. Hopefully this takes care of the problem. Pisses me off when i start the truck after it has sat for a day or so and it trys to stall when it first starts.
