Any intakes that would break even or gain alittle? When you change the manifold do you have to change alot of other stuff?

Here are some pics to help brainstorm alittle...I know I know its dirty, gotta get it cleaned up. That fast intake would help alot...so much money though..does it add alot of HP?

Yeah, those wires need some covering on them or somthin. maybe some steel braided type of lines or somthin. The intake swap takes alot huh? Cuz thats the main thing throwin it all off...

You're still coverin it up though I wanna show off that block and all the goods, but have it look nice somehow.

I pulled off all my engine covers last night and that engine aint very nice lookin on top haha. I know some guys paint thier covers and that looks good. But aside from dropin $700 on a fast intake is there any other things you guys have done to make that LQ9 look good without the covers on there?

I'm probably not gonna make it to the g2g, got family comin in to town then at night I gotta cocktail anniversary party to go to But the truck is runnin pretty good, I've had it back since last week, I'm so glad to have it back. I'll let you know how it goes friday!

Yeah I was kinda confused about the torque management, I thought I read on here that you are supposed to remove it if your doin a shift kit but Kendall wanted me to put it all back to stock. I'm not too sure how torque management works, I know some people remove alittle and some people remove it all. It just removes power while it shifts right?

Kendall said the transgo kit shifts way hard and that his kit can be customized to shift as soft or as firm as you want. He also recomended not to put a TC in untill I get my cam in there, because depending on the cam thats how a TC will be chosen. I'm gonna have all my line pressures set back to stock today and make sure all my torque management is there that way I'll be clear for Friday if I get the shift kit done then.

I'm not gonna be doin any FI anytime soon, if ever at all. Only thing I see in my future is a cam. I'm most likely puttin the shift kit and the B&M 8x11x1 1/2 cooler in at the toy shop friday. I think RiddinRimSS is gonna go at the same time and do his too.
