  1. I have a black one that may have been a Corvette part number but I don't recall the number.
  2. On DDM, the 35w is about $10 cheaper if that matters. On DDM, they recommend 35w for fog lights due to the heat:: From DDM's site: What is the difference between 55w and 35w kits? Our 55w HID kits are 40% brighter than the standard 35w kits. The 55W system ballasts are about 1 cm longer than the 35W ballasts. 55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output( for example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit). Our 55w HID Kit is not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area.
  3. New shocks may help but I bet it will ride much better when you get the bumpstop trimmed.
  4. I swapped from the Flowmaster to the Flowmonster. Loudness seems about the same but the truck runs better now. Only reason I went with the Flowmonster over the Magnaflow is Flowmonster = Magnaflow at a cheaper price. $65 in stainless steel: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61950&st=0
  5. I agree. Mine cost about $1500 i think but it looks the best IMO. Has a remote for unlocking/locking, underside light, and full underside carpeting that matches a bedrug.
  6. I'm full Amsoil on my Silverado but have used Mobil1 and Royal Purple in the engine, transmission, and differentials on other vehicles. All of these are excellent choices if you are going the synthetic route.
  7. Bump for an excellent product. I have had one for 4yrs and it looks as good as the day I got it. Shopman does high quality work.

    Spark Plugs?

Most prefer NGK or AC Delco. Either Iridium or Platinum depending on your preference and budget.

  10. It won't be a cut and bolt in process but any muffler shop can cut the old muffler off and weld the new one in easily. I used the DI/DO FM2468S and just used turndowns. You could also use the dual/single FM2198S if you want to keep your exhaust pipe. It cost me $40 to have the muffler welded in, hangers, and turndowns welded on.

  12. Just placed an order for one. Thanks for spreading the word and getting us a great deal!
  13. I chose the Gaylord X200 Speedsturr. It fits over the factory spoiler perfectly. It comes with carpeted underside, a remote, and a light. I ordered it through a local truck accesory place and I think the cover with shipping and installation was about $1400. Pricey, but it's one of the best covers and I knew I'd only buy it once. http://www.gaylordslids.com/speedsturr.php
  14. I agree on either the Hankooks or Nitto's. Whichever is a better deal cause they are both good choices.
  15. Hmm, I think it should be included in the X2000 standard features and options. Give Gaylords a call and tell them yours didn't come with one and hopefully they will send it. Heres the stock remote on the left and the Gaylords on the right. You can see what I'm talking about having enough buttons to just use the 1 Gaylord remote instead of having to carry both. Just need to know if you can program the lock unlock buttons like you would for the stock remote. If no one here knows, I may have to call Gaylords and ask them what I need to do to program it.
  16. The X2000 came with a remote with 4 buttons on it. One for the electronic latch release for the cover, one button for the light, and 2 other non-used buttons (at least on mine they don't work) which could be used for lock/unlock doors. Its not a GM remote so I wasn't sure if I could program these other 2 buttons like I would a factory GM remote. Trying to just be able to use the 1 Gaylords remote instead of carrying both.
  17. I'm wondering how to program the remote that is included with the X2000 to lock/unlock the doors also. Can you program it just like a factory remote? It has enough buttons on it and I'd like to just carry the 1 remote.
  18. My old truck did too. I'd check fuel filter and fuel pump.
  19. Same here. I just loosened all the bolts and carefully pried the bottom of the cover with a screwdriver to let the fluid out. Retightened the bolts and no leaks for 2 months so far.
  20. Sounds great! I'm waiting on Zippy to email or PM me back so I can order mine. I can't wait to get it.
  21. I've encountered this before on another vehicle. I'd take the T-stat out and button it up and see if you overheat. This would let you know if its the T-stat before you spend the money on one. It will also give you a chance to make sure you have all the air out of the coolant system.
  22. How loud is it in the cab? If you can, post a sound or video clip
