    Same thing happened, wasted money on that damn piece of tape from gmpartsdirect. Just taped off the whole duct and sprayed it flat black. Using some adhesive promoter helps from it chipping off.

    I was going to do the BedRug but good thing I didn't since my truck just got bagged, so I just line-x the bed and happy with it.

    These pictures doesn't give it any justice, looks a billion times better in person. You need to get a rollin' shot of it, shit is dope. Keep them polished, if you ever want them painted just let me know, I'll get my painter to do it for cheap.

    Yep. Good thing that my mesh grille was already black so I didn't have to paint it.

    That is how I did mines, just have to be really careful. What I did was heat up a flathead screwdriver with a heat gun to bend the plastic tabs on the back of the grille to pull the whole shell off to make it look clean rather than tape it off.
