  1. You have to force the blade under the chrome to peel it off, takes time and patience but well worth it.
  2. The photoshoot is not recent since I added the bedcover. But the last few are recent and just showing some random pics and mods that I have done. (thanks to the members on gmfs.com)
  3. Thanks, few things have changed. Headlights cleared, gaylord speedstur cover and bagged.
  4. For the grille, there's a circle where the bowtie is, take a razor blade and start peeling off all the chrome. That's how I did mines.
  5. I have 24s on mine with a 295 30 24
  6. Well I just bought a great condition Speedstur bedcover for 600 bucks and it does go over the SS wing so I didn't have to take it off. Just gotta get the cover painted white now.
  7. Does the Gaylord Speedstur cover work with the factory SS spoiler or will I need to remove it?
  8. There is someone selling the cladding in the For Sale section, might want to check it out
  9. I have done the full exterior clone to my 2005 Silverado. I have gotten majority of the cladding from a member on this forum and the front and rear bumpers from Ebay. Also have the same idea about the "SS" emblems so I never put them on. If I had to do it again, I probably won't because it gets very expensive if you don't know someone who has used parts for it. Best of luck on whatever you decide.
  10. The best thing to do is power coat them. If you wanted to paint them, they would have to be prepared correctly
  11. In a few months I'm planning on bagging it, the reason it sits like that is because of my driveway.
  12. I really cant go any lower than what it is currently.
  13. It was either Corsa or Remus but Remus sounds so much better, I like how the tips look on it.
  14. Thanks for the great comments. I have a set of 6000k HID's from member on here, very satisfied with them. I would really enjoy the tint here in Houston in the Summer but I like the way it looks without tint, just my personal preference.
  15. I got about 95% of the cladding off a member on this site who had a wrecked SS and I built my own brackets. So it beats going to the dealership.
  16. I like the way it looks without tint, just my personal preference I love how the SS looks exterior wise and I didn't want my truck to be considered a "Fake SS" so I don't even claim it's a SS unlike some.
  17. 2/4 drop, spindles in the front and hangers/shackles in the back
  18. My 2005 Silverado 5.3L, this truck was given to me bone stock less then 2 years ago by my parents for my high school graduation. Here are some before and after pics of what the truck looks like. Sorry for the few and crappy pics that I took, just want you guys to see some progress on it. Just to inform those out there...my intentions are not to put SS badges since it's not an SS and I do not want to perpetrate. Here's a little info on what was done: New 24 inch three piece NC Forged wheels with matching center whites (inside of the the bars were left chrome) Wheels were wrapped with 295-30-24 Toyo Proxes Street Scenes cal vu mirrors 2006 Hd hood and grille Speed Grille Main (still waiting for the lower Speed Grille to come in) Bed Stake caps Full OEM SS Cladding and OEM Bumpers I also took out my DJM drop coils and replaced them with Mcgaughys drop spindles....really makes a big difference in ride quality Before: After:
