My buddy said he was able to retain his stock regulator. Said he modified the fuel crossover to fit or something like that. I'll ask him Friday when I see him. I will get some pics too.

Are you shifting at 5800 rpm? If so thatx fine. No reason to go higher with the mods you have.

His hypertec won't let him get anywhere near that!!!! I'm using EFI Live. I forgot where it shifts stock, but it's in the 5000rpm range lol. IM thinking about bumping my shifts to 6800.
He can only add 500rpm to his stock shift points, that is no problem at all.

Your safe OP, I shift at 6500rpm. Rev limiter set 6800rpm. + 500 on shifts isn't going to hurt anything. Just start low and adjust till you like it.

SOTP meter says maybe 25hp. Still got tuning to do. It's holding 26 degrees of timing and my AFR is at 12.8-13.1. This cam needs a 3800 stall minimum.

The click is, the way these LS engines sound with a healthy cam. These lobes are more aggressive then the XER lobes, It's normal. And no i didn't do a relearn. Stock injectors run at 104% at 6300 rpm. Took 12 hours with a buddy. First ls cam swap I have ever done.

It runs it runs. But I'm having a problem keeping it running when coming to a stop. More tuning to do. Sounds like a sewing machine haha. Click click click.

Burnt about 3k in gas too lol.
Good luck with the install. Wooden 5/16 Dow rods work well to hold up the lifters.
Haha yeah we burnt 560gal of fuel that day. I had 7 buddies with me so we split fuel, came out to like 250 per person. We fished offshore for two days straight, that's the cheapest you'll be able to fish out that far for that long.
0-80 run with cam, 3200 stall, and tune.

Hits the rev limiter. I forgot I shift higher in TH mode. Need to bump rev limiter up. I was rolling less than 10mph. Just had eased out.
