I'm wanting to buy a buffer to use to get swirl marks out of my truck. I've never used one before so i need something a beginner could use. I looked at advanced auto part's and they had a 10 inch waxer and polisher but it looks kinda cheap it rotates at 2500 RPM's. Would this be powerful enough and would it work. I also looked at an orbital sander/polisher that rotated at 12,000 opm what does that mean and would it work for what i want? I looked at profesional buffer's on the net but they are like 200 bucks i would rather not pay that. Someone help me out.

My truck's not an SS but it is a daily driver.

why not put the stock chevy tails on <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Would the tail's on your guy's truck's fit in mine? If so that's probably what i will do. They look alot better.

Pretty cool that the dealer let you pick your loaner. When i took my truck for warranty work they stuck me with a peice of crap oldsmobile achieva.

I have a 2004 gmc sierra 1500 4x4 z71 5.3. Pretty much stock. Only mod's are duals and drop in k&n. I would like to have a supercharger or turbo but can't afford it right now and NOS seem's alot cheaper. I've heard horror stories about people blowing there motor with it and things like that but i'm just curious what would i have to do to my truck to run NOS. What are the pro's and con's of NOS and what kind of numbers would mt truck make on it. Thanks in advance.

I have 82,000 miles on my truck and haven't changed my plugs and wires yet. I know it wouldn't hurt but should i do it now and will i be able to tell a difference in mpg and performance?

If i went ford it would be diesel but i don't care much for the 6.0 but i would rather have that than the gas engine.

My truck sets a little high in the rear and i want to lower it a couple inches to level it out and i've been told i need a set of shakles. There's a block between the leafe springs and the rear axla and i'm wondering if i could just take that out and make it work

Noticed some of you guy's with smoked tails and it looks real good. I want to do something different because the gmc tails have the amber color in them and it looks like crap. If it would look good smoked i would do that rather than buy new ones but just wanna know what you guy's think.

Funniest damn thing i've ever seen.

Posted some pics a hile back and some of you guy's suggested that i drop the rear a couple inches to be evenwith the front end. Could someone tell me how to do this and what all i need to buy to do it. After thinking about it i think it would make my truck look alot better. Here's a pic so you can see what i'm talking about.
