Zippy is one of the most experienced; Brian Herter (PCM4Less) owns a SS himself and I have one of his tunes but it runs so rich that my Corsa tips are black in a week, not to mention some tranny shift point issues. Another popular albeit controversial tuner is Allen Nelson (Nelson Performance, San Antonio). You know who you might call (since you live in Odessa) is Texas Speed; they're on 62 just south of Lubbock; they might even dyno tune your truck right there... Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem with Texas Speed is that I called them and they said they couldnt dyno tune because my truck was AWD.

Thats what I would I would have them smoked. They look cool and its cheaper.

I know this might sound dumb but what is a PCM tune and what does it do?

Does the temp. have anything to do with it? It was 92 degrees at 10:30 p.m.

I went to my local race track in West Texas. I ran a 15.5 in 92 degree weather. my mods are a Volant CAI, and exhaust. Is this slow? Im worried

Only the 2wd SSS's and VHO's have that. The AWD version doesn't have traction control so you basicly just need alot of torque. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have the same problem. Myfriends drive harleys, lightnings, and vho's, and all of them light them up and they make fun of me for not doing it. Is there a way for awd to do it?

I did both temps. are set at 60. Even when the exeriror air comes in it comes in hot on the passenger side. But thanks I appreciate the concern.

So what do you guys think about the cold air kit form volat? Is it a good buy? i got the down tube as well, I just want to know if it helps any?

My 2004 ss is great. I just joined this forum and hope to have fun, but i came here with a problem. My truck is acting up, last night i installed a volant cold air intake. As i went to turn on my truck the driver side a/c was cold but the passenger side was coming out HOT. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks.
