  1. take a drive to AZ were no one gives a dern about carb rules and get the headers installed. plus you get a nice weekend getaway or something. prolly more then one or two shops in AZ known on the board will to take your business.
  2. nothing yet '06 gmc crew cab 2wd v-max. thinking about not much of anything. i just did all that modding with the goat and kinda modded out. if anything a tune ohh and steps since i didn't get them at the dealer. i wanted wheel to wheel old style diamond plate.
  3. your wind screen and radio apear to be missing. radio will be cheep the wind screen prolly not my guess is it was cracked or the chrome rusted and the previous just removed it unless you did. check the cooling lines for the engine make sure their in good condition. their should be a anti backfire air cleaner on there instead of a wal-mart bag. there not to bad $$ wise. paint looks good hull seams ok in the picks some of the wood looks sick but useable and seats are a dime a dozen. if it runs should be good to go. make sure to give it a good de zebraing.
  4. easyest way is go rent one first and play on it for a day or a cupple weakends. you might find 215 hp sound awsom in the store but on the water it's not all that great. i rented one and first 2 hours was heaven on water, but then the tourist came out woken from their drunken slumber and i spent the rest of the day at 1/2 throttle dodgeing idiots and trying not to bust my nuts on the huge waves made by tubers and slow ass pontoons and them freeking houses on water with motors stuck to the back. but dam the first 2 hours was fun as hell.
  5. 87 works fine but the PCM reduces timing much faster then it adds it back when you run 91+ takes me about 2 tanks of 93 to get my power back. why i even bother putting in 87 when it's $5 bucks a tank difference is beyond me. it's that spur of the moment holly f $3.07 a gallon moments that make me fill up with 87 since 93 sits at 3.27
  6. they played with the pipes, cats, bends, muffler, headers, ect to get a sound. like tuneing a gutar tighten the string till it hits the right pitch.
  7. british horse power vs. sae hp. i forget what the conversion rate is. unless it's the new 6.2L 38? hp
  8. regular duramax (lby?)is covered by 0% the upgrade lbz isn't. what is it 360hp 650ft lbs or something vs. the 300hp 520 ft-lbs duramax that was my understanding dealer coulda been stroking me to sell the wimpy duramax and get it of the lot.
