  1. Man, that front end looks badace! Nice job! R8ers4life, I was thinking along the same lines as you were w/ keeping the bowtie, and I remembered seeing something similar on stylinconcepts but I looked it up and it’s hideous here’s the link http://www.stylinconcepts.com/part.aspx/pa...8/categoryid/25 But I know that a die grinder goes a long ways w/ billet, but if you bought the new front end kit and this grill, you’d be like $900 deep. Prob better off fabbin’ the bow tie you have now to fit that new front end, which by the way would look badass on your ss w/ or w/o the bowtie.
  2. lol, ya just race through the intersecton...turn on your hazards...lol.
  3. just sold my 1994 camaro z28, LT1 with just intake and exhaust, turned 13.79. The LS1's are even faster. You'll still spank one out of the hole...
  4. Go to googlemaps.com print out a satellite picture of the rode/intersection that this all happened in, this will give them a visual aide, if satellite pics aren’t available take pictures yourself, next do the measurements to the exact location of where he would have clocked you in relation to the exit of the Sonic. Next, bring your girlfriend with you and take her car, inform them that you have a BONE stock single cab Chevy pickup (now’s not the time to brag. lol. ) and it’s mechanically not capable to accelerate to 52mph in the distance that you traveled. Don’t bring letters of recommendation, this isn’t an interview, lol. Dress nice, kiss ass, and good luck. I went through this two years ago, nearly the exact same situation, take measurements and do the math, because numbers don’t lie….cops do
  5. $150 is the going rate out here in AZ, I've called three reputable body shops and all want around 150 for all three lights. shops warranty their paint and a rattlecan job has none. i would just pay someone, drop it off and pick it up. good luck, post some pics when finished...
  6. car and driver said the 5.3 runs a 15.4 and the ls2 turns 14.1.
  7. that looks like my buddies civic...lol. i mean with all the smoke...we tell him he has batman exhaust.
  8. Thanks for the feedback guys! So about the wiring harness, did anyone pay $100 for it? I thought the salesman was blowin smoke up my aSS. And Grohe, is this deck motorized? The ‘open’ button is on the top-left, which leads me to believe it is a ‘flop down’ style and not motorized like my older Alpine deck…that’s not going to deter me from buying it, it’s looks awesome and has great reviews, but I kinda liked the motorized feature…
  9. Well I purchased Two Mtx 10's (6,000's?) in a Mtx thunderform box and Mtx 6500d amp about one year ago for $300 (from a shady guy in Scottsdale) anyways, I've been tetnative to install because I've had my stereo stolen many times, but I can't let these sit any longer. My Question is which deck is the best bang for a buck as far as quality/looks. I did not want an in-dash and I would like to spend about $400, I really like the Alpine cda-9857 ( http://www.ultimateelectronics.com/shoppin...iProductID=6079 ) does anyone have feedback on this deck or any recommendations? Next question, I believe the wiring harness I need is like $100 b/c the abs or airbags wont deploy? thats what a salesman told me...???
  10. Now, that you got, start moddin' it! I'd go with tint first...
  11. man that looks sharp! ...one question, i believe we have the same aftermarket headlights, do your bottom headlights get moisture in them? mine do, and i replaced the o-rings on the bulbs, but still moisture gets in, i was thinkin about re-sealing the lenses all the way around. what have you done, if anything? O and that boat looks sharp behind your SS
  12. i have the MTX thunderform w/ two MTX 6000's 10's. and MTX 600 amp. Sounds really good...bought the setup used for 300 for all of it, o here's a link... http://cgi.ebay.com/MTX-THUNDERFORM-CHEVY-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. lol. i love a good flamer joke lol.
  14. anything snap-on is very expensive, my brother paid 6k for one half that size...this one is a rich rednecks dream. but im broke so...
  15. quick/interesting story...my buddy has an 04 ram quad cab hemi (intake, exhaust, superchip) three weeks ago i was with him and a srt10 quad cab flagged us down and wanted to race, i'm not sure what mods he had (it sounded mean, but that could have been the v10) anywho, we race from two different stop lights and each time my buddies hemi was 1/2 to 1 truck length ahead! moral of story: doesn't matter how much power you have, it's about getting the power to the ground...still one badass tire spinner
  16. ps the sign was f'n hilarious him and his wife should stick with what they know best...ketchup. lol.
  17. My little theory on politics, There is SO much information that we, the American public, are not exposed to. I don’t understand how people can argue so violently (crazy protesters at ASU 24/7) when we know ‘half’ of the real story. People often go by what they hear on ‘the news’ or in their local paper, which you’ll get a ‘biased’ opinion of ‘half’ the story. It’s like writing a math problem, erasing half of it, and trying to solve it. I do think that we are in Iraq for the wrong reasons (the world runs off of oil) but still stand behind our troops 100% Short and sweet $.02, let me know what you guys think, I’m 20, dumb, 10 ft tall and bulletproof.
  18. Ok, your dog died and you give the and a , doesn't really sound like you are grieving the loss of your dog. I don't undertand you. Anyways, that's too bad for the dog. Poor guy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sometimes text can be extremely misleading and misunderstood, ie When my gpa died we all meaning we all took shots of crown in his memory but this sites meaning of is partying, but definately wouldn't give a . either way im sorry for your loss, was such a young pup.
